It's unbelievable. After I hid my feelings for Lucas, for her to be happy, she goes on a date with Charlie? And then kisses Lucas? I thought she was my best friend. She told me she only liked Lucas. I guess that's not true.
Maya's P.O.V.
Oh my God. I have to fix this. I can't lose Riley. I need to find her and explain everything to her.
( At Riley's room)
Riley's P.O.V.
Maya walks into my room, tears streaming down her face.
Riley: What do you want?
Maya: Riley, I need to explain everything. Okay, at Sarah's party, Charlie kissed me and asked me out. I was so confused because Charlie seemed like a really nice guy, but I still liked Lucas. Then you said that you wanted me to be with Lucas, so I couldn't tell you that I was going on a date with Charlie after what you did. Later, I found out Charlie was cheating on me. I ran away and bumped into Lucas. He made me feel so much better, and I liked him so much, so I just kissed him without thinking about it. And now I feel terrible.
Riley: wow
Oh God. I was so mad, but now I feel kind of bad for her. I see the pain in her eyes. She's crying. I understand her situation. I don't want to lose her. I hug her really tight.
Riley: promise me we won't ever let this happen again.
Maya: promise. But you have to tell Lucas how you feel.
Riley: what?
Maya: You can't stop thinking about him, and he probably doesn't stop thinking about you either. You never stopped liking each other.
It's true. She right, I do think about him.
