Chapter 6 : Closer

A/N: Hello~~ I'm back~ I'm so happy cuz I got some workout stuff for Christmas and I'll get a new ps4 game soon!! Super happy!!! Here's chapter 6, please enjoy~~~ XDDD~~~

Kaneki was standing in front of his mirror, looking at the reflection of himself. He was wearing his black T-shirt and white shorts, which were both torn slightly. He put his mask on. "Hm.... it just doesn't feel right..." He muttered, and he had the idea. He went to a wig store and bought a white wig, and came back home and put it on.

"Better." He thought, and the doorbell rang. "Ken, it's Hide." He heard his mother, and came out of his room. "Hey, Kaneki." Said Hide. He was wearing an outfit that looked like army clothing. "Hey, Hide. You look awesome!" Said Kaneki. "Yeah, you too. Ready to go?" Said Hide, grinning. "Almost, I gotta wear the makeups." Said Kaneki.

He went back to his room, and Hide followed. He put the Kakugan(that's what ghouls' eyes are called, if you don't know) contact lens on, and added dark red veins around his eyes. "Oh my holy god! You look exactly like a ghoul now!" Said Hide, amazed. "Yep, admire me. Let's go." Said Kaneki.

He put the broken cuffs that he prepared earlier around his wrists and ankles, and went out of his room with Hide. "Have fun, Ken and Hide." Said Kaneki's mother. "We will, thanks, mom." Said Kaneki. Hide grinned and waved her goodbye, and the two left the apartment.

"Touka-chan! Ready??" Asked Yoriko excitedly. "Yeah.... I guess...." She muttered, walking downstairs in the dress she bought the day before yesterday. She also wore ghoul makeups, and the mask was on the left side of her head. Yoriko, on the other hand, was wearing a white dress which reached to her knees, and it had white flowers at the bottom of her skirt.

"Onee-chan!! You look so pretty!" Said Hinami, and Touka smiled weakly. "Thanks, Hinami-chan." She said, and Hinami took a picture of her. "I'll remember to sketch the picture!" Said Hinami, and she took another one of Yoriko. "I'll remember to draw yours too, Yoriko-neechan!!" Said Hinami. "Thank you, Hinami-chan!" Said Yoriko.

"Bye bye, onee-chan and Yoriko-neechan! Have fun!" Said Hinami. The two smiled and left Anteiku.

"Hm, people are staring at us." Said Kaneki. "Yeah, you're a bit terrifying somehow." Said Hide, laughing. They saw some students from their school walking toward the same direction as well, and some were backing away from them, and some even screamed when they had the sight of Kaneki.

"Looks like my outfit is totally successful." Said Kaneki, smiling, and Hide laughed. "Yep, totally beats mine. Oh, look, they're already there." Said Hide, pointing toward the two girls who were standing in front of the entrance to the masque.

"Hi! Touka-chan! Yoriko-chan!" Shouted Hide, waving at them. They heard him and waved back. "Hey, Touka-chan, Yoriko-chan." Said Kaneki, smiling, though it was hard to tell. "Touka-chan, stop hiding yourself!" Said Yoriko, Touka was standing behind Yoriko, trying not to let anyone see her.

"No, it's embarrassing..." She said. Yoriko sighed. "Come on, Touka-chan, just come out already!" Said Yoriko. Touka sighed and walked out of the shadow.

"Wow, Touka-chan, you look amazing!" Said Kaneki, blushing, though it wasn't able to be seen. "Yeah, thanks. And your mask looks kinda awesome too." Said Touka, also blushing, avoiding his eyes. "Thanks, you're mask looks good on you too, right? Hide? Hide? Hey! Hide!" Said Kaneki, snapping his fingers in front of Hide.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, cute mask, cute little rabbit. Very cute dress." Said Hide hastily, though he wasn't looking at her. He was staring at Yoriko instead. He looked like someone had smacked him in the face. "Um..... thank you?" Said Touka, Yoriko was blushing.
