"Get the syringe!" he screams and a female doctor with blonde hair walks towards me, holding a box filled with a syringe, which is currently filled with a clear liquid.

The man takes the syringe from the box and walks towards me with it. As he walks towards me I try and wiggle away from him, but fail.

"Please don't," I say, realizing that my only hope is to bed for mercy. I stare at him, eyes wide, tears still flowing from them.

He ignores my plead and grabs my right arm, the one without the brand, and injects the liquid into it. The man then smiles and hands the needle back to the women.

My eyes widen as the liquid works its way through my body, causing a temporary burning sensation. I grit my teeth and try not to show that I am in any pain. "Get on with it. If you are going to kill me then do it," I say through gritted teeth.

"Okay then," he says and balls up his fist, looking at it before pulling it back and punching me in the face.

I let out a cry of pain as it hits my face, then another as the drug makes the pain worse. I look over to Marcus and Tara, who are both trying to resist the people holding them back. I spot Abby and Cary to the left of them. They too are trying to fight their way free.

"Wait," I say as the man is about to punch me again.

He looks confused, yet angry at the same time. "What is it?" he asks me.

"Don't make them watch this," I say to him. "You are already killing me, why make everyone else watch my pain? What's the point in it?" I ask him.

"To show them that if they do what you did that there will be consequences," he spits at me.

"How can any of them do what you did?" I ask him. "You already keep us prisoners, drug us, give us only enough food to survive on. I don't know why you enjoy this so much, but if you are going to kill me then just shoot me," I say to him.

"Shut up!" a familiar voice says from behind. "Shut up Aria!" it screams again.

"Dr. Hale," I say quietly before turning around and seeing him walking up to me, angry. "What are you do-?" I start but stop when he kicks me in the stomach, then the arm, legs, head, and chest.

I cough, spewing blood onto the ground as I do. "What are you doing?" I say, panting as I do.

"I was the one who wanted this to happen to you. I was the one who took you here when you were very young, and I was the one who led you to the safe house," he says to me and kicks me in the stomach again.

"Why?" I ask him, coughing up more blood. "What's the point of it?"

"The point of it is to make you suffer. Out of all of the kids that I brought here, you were the first to defy me, although you probably don't remember that, because you were only four at the time. Once you defied me everyone started to, everything was fine until that one day," he says to me, kicking and punching me as he does.

I gasp for air as I listen to him. "Kill me," I say to him, not wanting to suffer any more. "Kill me then," I say to him. "Punish me, but don't punish them," I say and look to Marcus and Tara, who looked both shocked and angry.

Dr. Hale pulls out a gun and points it at my head. "Any last words," he asks me, and I nod my head.

"Marcus, Tara, Abby, whatever you do, whatever it takes, escape. Do it for me," I say and close my eyes.

I hear a single gunshot, and I know that it is over.
