I am led into a different room, than Marcus, but Tara stays with me in a room with four beds and two bathrooms, each with their own toilet, shower, and sink. On each of the beds lay a clean set of clothes; black jeans and sneakers, dark blue shirt, white socks, and an odd black bracelet lying on top.
I grab the bracelet; it has the strap of a watch and has a small screen on it. I hit a small button on the side of it and the screen pops up with the word 'Hello' on it. I stare at it before hitting the button again, this time the words 'Say name' on it. "Aria," I say, bringing the bracelet close to my face.
I continue to play with the bracelet, setting it up with my name, age, and gender. The bracelet tells your heartrate, the time, and a radio like thing to communicate with people.
After playing with the bracelet I go into the bathroom, taking my new clothes with me, and take a shower, the water turning from clear to a mix of blood and dirt.
Once I shower I dress myself then go back into the room with the beds to see Tara sitting on her bed, messing with her bracelet.
I go back to my bed and put on my bracelet right before Fred walks in, Marcus behind him.
"Come on, we are going to get some food," Fred says to us.
"Where is Dr. Hale?" I ask him, looking behind Marcus for him.
"He went back, he always goes back after bringing us new people," he says and then motions for us to follow him.
Tara and I follow him to the place with a bunch of tables that we were at when we first got here. We walk over to a table with different food on it, and plates along with forks, spoons, and knifes on one side.
I grab a plate and fork, and fill my plate with corn, a bread roll, mashed potatoes, an apple, and an egg. Marcus and Tara fill their plates with food and we all sit down at an empty table and start to eat, almost forgetting that there are other people here.
"When you are done eating you can get some sleep, then we need to do some tests to see what kind of damage those scientists did to you. We will also find what you are good at and what you are not good at, then we will assign you specific training with others, and eventually we will take down those scientists with the smallest amount of casualties possible," Fred says and then walks out of the cafeteria.
I nod to him, as does Tara and Marcus before we continue to stuff our faces with food. Table by table the cafeteria gets less full until only Tara, Marcus, and I are left.
"We should probably go back to our rooms and get some rest," Marcus says and gets up, Tara and I following him.
"Okay," I say to him, and we all walk back to our rooms. As soon as I get back to my room I lay down in my bed and almost instantly I go to sleep.
I hear a knock on the door followed by Fred's voice, "We need to do the tests now," he says and I hear the door open.
My eyes flutter open and I see Fred standing in the doorway, Tara walking over to him. I roll out of my bed and walk over to the door.
"Come on," he says and we walk down the hallway to a room a little bigger than the cafeteria.
Inside the room are treadmills, seats with heart monitors next to them, and blood samples laying on trays, each with their own label, and a lot more.
