Toothless woke up at dawn, hearing a chewing noise. He looked at the once roaring and living campfire. The fish were gone. The last 3 fish, gone. Where could they have gone? Toothless gently and gingerly slid a sleeping Hiccup down to earth. He walked outside the cave.  He heard the chewing noises get louder and louder. Toothless looked around only to see wilderness and trees. The sky was clear with no clouds to be seen for miles. Toothless his head left, then right. Nothing. Still that chewing noise was getting annoying. He looked down to the ground. Other than his shadow, he saw two more shadows hanging above him. Toothless looked up to see two dangling legs, a few feet above his head. Toothless quietly inched to the corner of the cave and began climbing it. He wanted to see what Edge looked like. Did he look like Hiccup? Toothless started thinking about what Edge would look like. He then focused on his "mission".

Toothless made it halfway up, when a voice said, "Morning, bud. How are you today?"

It was Edge's voice, only clearer. He didn't have his mask on, but he did have his hood on. Darn it! Toothless only saw the back of his figure. He was sitting there, staring at the sky and sun. Toothless came up behind and sat by him. He had black gloves on, and a black sweater, so Toothless couldn't tell anything. The only thing was that he had medium sized muscular arms. He looked at what he was doing. He had a lead pencil, a knife, and his journal. He was drawing. He drew the sky and sketched in the sun. It was beautiful. Edge had a talent for drawing. Toothless turned to him.

"Not the sneakiest dragon, huh?" Edge said chuckling in a now muffled voice.

Toothless nodded as he looked at him. His eyes reflected the sun's ultraviolet rays. His face was darkened, only his eyes could be seen. They were a deep color. Toothless couldn't tell whether they were brown or grey or blue. All he could see was the sun's reflection off of it. Toothless turned back to the drawing. He pointed towards it, using his paw.

"Do you like it?" He asked, his voice sounding a little more enthusiastic.

Toothless nodded, grinning his gummy smile. He began posing, looking slightly arrogant.

"You want me to draw you." He said acting as if he was guessing.

Toothless nodded, giving out dramatic poses. He gave his best pouty face, silly face, and smile, making Edge laugh.

"Ok, Mr. Posey pants,  calm down, its not nice to have an arrogant dragon. Maybe another time, its time to get moving. We have a long day ahead of us. Today we are going to try to get to the other side of the island. After that, we'll fly to one of my checkpoints. That way I can address your rider's wounds, ok. Does that sound like a plan?" Edge explained.

Toothless sat up, imitating Hiccup, when he had to decisions. His stomach grumbled. Edge laughed. That was the first time he had done that in public, since. . .He snapped out of his thoughts.
