Hey guys Skye here. Ok so I finally updated. This is in exchange for a tag that Kara_Song gave me. So I finally did it. Please vote and comment and tell me whatcha think. As always, please enjoy this update.

Hiccup hadn't seen Skye this morning. After enjoying a breakfast handmade from his mother, he was surprised Skye wasn't there. Maybe she was still sleeping. The case was that Hiccup's curiosity got the best of him as he made his way back up the stairs. Before he knew it, he was already at the door. His shadow was hovering over the wooden door. Hiccup cleared his throat before knocking on the door. It was a little too quiet. The knock echoed throughout the hallway.

"Skye? Skye, mom made breakfast. I was wondering you wanted some before it got cold." Hiccup trailed off, silence taking over.

He sighed as he began getting impatient. He tapped his foot but nothing seemed to come from it since she didn't answer.

"Skye? Hello?" Hiccup turned the knob and opened the door.

It was empty. The room was empty. The bed was made and the room was surprisingly tidy. He looked everywhere. She wasn't there. Her presence was somewhat comforting to Hiccup. She could be stubborn, but Hiccup thought it was just to keep her reputation. He knew there was much much more than meets to eye about Skye. He leaned on the wall as he saw the desk full of pens and paper and plants. Hiccup didn't know she was a botanist. He decided to take a peek. He didn't want to be snooping, but he was really interested in her many talents. Botany and being an herbalist was one of them. Hiccup opened up to the first page as he lifted its stitched leather cover away from the paper pages.

Hiccup read the first page only to see that it was finished and that a sample was needed. He wondered if maybe she had gone to get a sample. In any case, Hiccup took the book and made his way out the door. That is after he kissed his mother's cheek.

Once Hiccup was outside, the fresh breeze hit him, his auburn hair swooping to one side. His green emeriald eyes searched for his scaly friend. Toothless was no where to be seen, which was quite odd. Toothless would usually tackle him down or greet him with a gummy smile. Today it was different. No Skye, no Toothless. . .

As he got closer to the forest, he was determined to get that sample, but those plans were postponed due to a certain little bakery catching his eye.The scent of bread hitching his nostrils. Hiccup always went to see Mavis. She was one of the few who Hiccup met and got along with after becoming the Dragon Master. She never used his or abused of having a friend like him. Hiccup saw her mostly as a sister since she has no brother. He decided to pay her a visit.

He suddenly saw someone come out from the back. A figure. It looked oddly familiar. . . Hiccup's eyes widened as his eyes focused on who the figure was. Tall, long hair, curvy figure. Could that be? Skye? He watched as the figure entered the bakery again. Hiccup was dumbfounded. Skye? At a bakery? Doesn't seem plausible. It was probably Mavis he thought.

Suddenly the door opened as Hiccup came face to face with Gobber.

"Aye, Hiccup. Come to try Mavis's scrumptious deserts? If I were you I would try either the new Cherry Jubilee or the Boisonberry Scones. Those are delicious." Gobber said, talking on and on.

Hiccup gave him toothy grin before saying, "I thought you didn't like the way Mavis baked."

Gobber chuckled and the sighed, "I did until that lass made me try it. I couldn't believe what I had been missing. Such goodness. That lass sure is something."

Hiccup smiled as he thought it was Mavis he was talking about. As he got carried away in his thoughts, Gobber tapped his forehead, "Earth to Hiccup. "
