Frisk leaped backwards too quickly and slipped on the frosty ground. "Oomph!"
"Human! Are you okay?" Papyrus said holding out a hand. He pulled Frisk to their feet and took a step back.
"I didn't think I was going that hard on you," Papyrus said thoughtfully while Frisk brushed the snow off their pants.
Immediately after Grillby's Sans ran into Papyrus who yelled for only a moment before Sans asked Papyrus to train Frisk. And here they were.
So much in one day...
"You...weren't. I'm just not cut out for this." Frisk sighed. And sat down on a frosty stone poking up from the ground to rest for a moment.
"You know.." Papyrus said. "When Undyne first started training me, she could knock me down in a few moments. After some time I began to last longer and longer. I'm still not as good as her...but I just haven't had the time to improve that much.
"I have faith in you human. You too can learn with time."
Frisk sighed. "Thanks Papyrus..." Frisk did their best to conceal a yawn, but couldnt. The day seemed to stretch on forever.
"Human...are you tired? Well...you are a lot smaller than I expected a human to be. You've probably had a long day. If you want you could come sleep on our couch. The inn is kind of pricey, and I, the Great Papyrus would gladly help a friend in need!"
Frisk hesitated for a moment. "Uh....sure...okay."
Papyrus seemed to glow. "Wowie! It'll be like a sleepover!"
Frisk chuckled. "Yea...a sleepover."Frisk stood in complete darkness.
What is this place?
Suddenly the everything began to glow softly and move downwards in a wave-like motion.
"Human...this is the barrier..."
Frisk turned to see a large shadowy figure. They couldn't make out the face.
"It was nice to meet you...goodbye."
"Wait-!" Frisk stumbled backwards and waved their arms in a panic as the ground vanished.
No!
"Frisk! No!"
A hand reached out to them. Frisk tried to grab it, but they were too far away. They plummeted downwards....the air wrapping around them like a blanket....faster...faster....faster.Boom!
"Hey Papyrus! Ready for your morning training?"
Frisk hit the cold floor in a panic. I fell off the couch?
They untangled the blanket and pulled it off their head.
"Hey Papyrus?" The voice called.
"Undyne! Be quiet! You might wake up the-"
Papyrus stopped when he saw Frisk sitting on the floor, hair stuck in multiple directions and eyes squinted.
"Oh...too late."
Frisk stood and turned to see who was here.
The monster froze. Recognition flashed in her eyes and she dropped the spear in her hand. "Oh my god...Frisk?"
