Chapter 23

"Undyne, stop! It's me, Frisk!"
Undyne' s hands shook as she raised the spear. "Dont do this!" Frisk said.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now...?...you murderer!"
"....murderer?" Frisk echoed.
"I saw it all!" Undyne said angrily. "Dont act like you're innocent! He just wanted to be your friend! To remember what we could! And you killed him in cold blood!"
Frisk's hands were shaking now. "Who?" Frisk asked, prepared to dodge if Undyne attacked.
"Stop pretending like you don't know! I'm going to kill you Frisk. Then I'm gonna reset and kill you again. Say goodbye to every happy ending you've ever known. I'll never let you past again!"
That wouldn't work anyways. She'd forget after resetting...no time for logic now!
"I haven't even talked to anybody since I left the ruins!" Frisk said defensively.
"Liar!" Undyne said. "You killed Papyrus! You killed my best friend! Even if he can come back in the next timeline, I won't let you get away with this!"
Papyrus!?
"Papyrus is...dead?"
"Stop pretending!"
Undyne launched a spear at Frisk, who shrieked in shock and barely leapt aside.
I have to get out of here.
"Sorry to interrupt...but what exactly is going on here?"
Frisk looked behind Undyne to see the silhouette of Flowey in the light flooding into the empty cave where Undyne trapped Frisk.
"Last time I checked you two were friends."
"Flowey?" Undyne and Frisk said in unison.
"How did you get out of the pot?" Frisk asked.
Flowey looked Undyne dead in the eye. "Toriel knocked it over and the soil loosened just enough for me to escape."
"Knocked it over?" Frisk echoed. "Why didn't she pick it back up?"
Flowey chuckled. "Oh I'm sure she would have. But she was too busy trying to get the knife out of her chest."
Frisk staggered backwards. "Shes....she's dead?"
Flowey nodded solemnly. "Whoever that was...they were gonna kill me too..." He looked down. Frisk knew he was hiding something. What could Flowey possibly be hiding? From them and Undyne?
....he must have known who killed her. And probably Papyrus too. At that moment it all clicked into place.
"No wonder Undyne thought it was me..."
"I know it was you!" She said angrily. Frisk shook their head. "No...it wasnt. It was Chara....Chara killed them."
