"Alphys?" Undyne called. This feels familiar...she thought.
"Oh my god!" Alphys's familiar voice rang out. From where she was standing, Undyne couldn't see her. There was a crashing sound and Undyne saw several boxes of instant noodles spill onto the floor. Then Alphys hopped backwards akwardly, pulling her labcoat on. "Undyne! W-what are you doing-?"
Undyne shook her head. "Its urgent Alphys. A....child..... is sick and dying. We need something to help them. There isn't much time left."Alphys stiffened. Oh God...I could try determination again....but...that didn't work last time...this is a child... but they will die if I don't do something.
I can try something else...but I might as well bring it in case it doesn't work.Undyne watched Alphys grab several syringes and put them in a small case, like the kind a businessman would carry. It seemed sort of unecessary...but she didn't say anything.
"Ready?" Undyne asked.
Alphys nodded. "Yea, take me to this child.""I still don't understand....how are the Ruins open? And where are we going?"
Undyne sighed. She loved Alphys, but right now she wished she would stop talking. "You'll see." I hope we aren't too late.
They finally reached the small, tidy house in
"Toriel!
Undyne ran inside. "Toriel? I found her!"
Papyrus and Sans were standing at the start of the hall. "They're in the first room," Sans said to Alphys, who hurried past.
"Toriel wanted to be alone...she was thought Frisk wouldn't want everyone to see them like this."
"OH MY GOD!"
Undyne jumped. Then she remembered that she hadn't told Alphys that Frisk was a human.
"Oh boy.." she said walking to Frisk's room.Toriel stared at Alphys, whose face reflected something ten times as strong as shock. She worried that the scientist might faint. "Alphys...are you okay?" She asked.
Frisk coughed and that seemed to jerk her back to reality. "Yea...I'm fine."
Alphys set the case on the bed and opened it. She couldn't take her eyes off Frisk. Toriel watched her take the syringe and carefully put it in Frisk's arm. She injected whatever was inside and stepped back.
"I was...scared it wouldn't work....but determination is exactly what they needed." Alphys looked at Toriel. "And...another...shocker. You're Toriel. The queen."
Toriel nodded. "Will Frisk be okay?" She asked, not taking their eyes off Frisk.
Alphys nodded. "They'll...um...Frisk will be fine."
She nodded. "Okay...let's leave them to rest, Alphys, and I'll explain everything."
