"Hello Frisk."
They turned to see Chara. Her dark eyes sent fear down Frisk's spine.
"Chara? W-what are you doing here?" They asked.
"I'm here to help you learn. Look," Chara said.
Suddenly, a Froggit appeared, it's dull eyes rolled over to Frisk, who smiled at it.
"Ok Frisk...kill it."
Frisk looked at Chara in surprise. "What?" Frisk asked in shock.
Chara smiled. "You heard me. Kill it. Here! Use this!" She said, tossing them a knife. Frisk caught it clumsily.
"Kill it," she repeated. Frisk looked down at the knife in their hands, then back at the Froggit. "No..no I can't kill-"
Chara's smile vanished."What did You say?" She asked.
Frisk looked down. "I...said no..."
Chara walked over, and Frisk held up the knife defensively.
"Oh please, you wouldn't hurt me," she chuckled. Frisk knew she was right. They couldnt. She grabbed the knife and ripped it from their hands. "If you wont kill the Froggit, I'll kill you." She rammed her fist into Frisk's stomach, causing more pain than they expected. They landed on their back and quickly stood before Chara was on them again.
"Kill it," she said.
"No...I won't do it," Frisk said, shaking now.
"Pathetic."
She took a step towards Frisk.
"Pathetic!"
Frisk cried out in pain and collapsed. They managed to pull themselves to their feet again before Chara could come any closer.
"Kill it!" Chara screamed pointing to the Froggit.
"No!"
Chara sighed. "I tried being nice Frisk, but you won't cooperate. It isn't even a real Froggit. It's just part of your imagination. Kill it."
Frisk closed their eyes and backed away. "I wont...I won't do it! You can't make me!"
Chara sighed. "You're right. It's not like I can kill you...you're gonna die soon anyways."

Frisk opened their eyes to see the ceiling of their room I Toriel's house. They heard muffled yelling in the other room. Their head felt like it might explode and they felt hot, yet cold.
Frisk heard the door open and sat up. The room spun but they were still able to make out the shape of Toriel. They tried to say her name, but their voice was so scratchy it was barely recognizable.
Joy lit Toriel's face. "You're awake," she said. "One moment...let me tell Alphys."
