Frisk was lost in thought, listening to the soft drip of water and the fading echo of the music box.
They were dreading fighting Asgore, and wondered how strong he would be....did he already know about Frisk? If so....was he planning against them?
Frisk stopped for a moment to save before continuing. They took a moment to be grateful for the ability to save the timeline. They never had to when the barrier was broken...and they wondered why they had to in the Underground. Probably because nothing was trying to kill them in the human world. It didn't really matter...
Frisk froze when they heard a soft humming sound that stood out from the steady sound of water. They looked around in confusion. "....Hello?"
Suddenly a flash of blue exploded from the ground. They jumped backwards in shock, before bolting forward blindly. Terror lead them through the maze of spears shooting up through the ground. One tore the sleeve to their sweater, just missing their arm. They stumbled on, unsure how long this was lasting. Before they realized what happened they ran into a dead end, the cold stone wall looming in front of them. They turned when they heard footsteps behind them.
"U-Undyne?" Frisk said, suddenly terrified of the shadowed armor suit. They couldn't understand why Undyne, who had just been glad to see them alive and well, was now looming in front of them, poised to kill.
Spears fell from above like they always did, and the ground began to shake. Frisk didn't look away as the ground collapsed beneath them and they plummeted into darkness.
If the timeline is corrupted...Will this fall kill me? They wondered suddenly.
That was the last thing they remembered before impact.
