Wow three chapters in one day. Go me.

"Sans! You're back! And you brought the human! Why are they wet?" Papyrus asked.
"No time to ask questions bro." Sans said." We gotta get them warmed up. Can you get some blankets?"

Papyrus returned with armfuls of blankets that Frisk pulled around them gratefully and sat down on the couch. Afterwards he walked back to the kitchen.
Probably making more spaghetti.
Frisk stopped shaking after a few minutes, but still felt exhausted and cold.
Sans sat down next to them with his usual slouched posture.
"...I know you probably don't feel too good..." Sans said. He wasn't wrong. All Frisk wanted to do was sleep...but they knew if they did like this...they might not wake up. "Undyne went to try and get Toriel from the Ruins. She's good with smashing boulders and things like that..."
Frisk's eyelids drooped and they shook their head, trying to stay awake.
"Kid...I need you to tell me what happened. Undyne found a knife and tracks in the snow...who was there? What happened?"
Frisk's eyes widened. "Oh no...I was walking....and looking at the locket, trying to remember...and I heard water. Then......Chara appeared. Like out of thin air. She demanded I give her the locket and said it was personal property....I knew I couldn't because it felt important. She threw her knife at me...and I fell through the ice before it hit me....but I dropped the locket....hopefully in the water, where Chara can't get it."
Sans nodded. "Thank you for telling me. Anything else? Talking seems to keep you awake...so let's do that."
Frisk nodded. They looked at Sans.
"I get why you...acted so quickly.....it's okay...it...didn't hurt much."
Sans didn't look at Frisk. He sighed and leaned forward. "You're just a kid Frisk. Most kids your age wouldn't understand simple things. But you...you've been through so much. You've died many times....you've chosen not to kill....you've had the power to destroy the whole underground and so much more...anyways...my point is you're still a kid....and I shouldn't have used that much power against a kid. Enough to hurt you like that...I haven't been able to sleep...always seeing Asriel in my dreams, yelling at me about how I murdered you."
Frisk nodded. "I get it. But I also get why you did it. It was instinct....and I wasn't really dead. I never am...unless....it's before the reset button is located. Asriel is in the Ruins with Toriel....I ran because I didn't understand them...and then the Ruins...exploded or something. I don't even know if Toriel is alive..."
"Well...I suppose now you do," a soft voice said. Frisk looked up to see Toriel. Undyne, who stood next to Toriel, held a very mad Flowey.
"Mom?" Frisk said starting to move.
Toriel sat between Frisk and Sans and hugged Frisk. "Oh my child..I am sorry...I did everything I could but I couldn't get out of the Ruins. I thought you were killed."
Frisk heard tears in her voice and leaned back from the hug. "I'm not dead...not yet at least...and I got my memories back...it's really me now. Frisk."
