Chapter 3 ~ Stereotype

"I have a practice match today. With Yon Middle School. You don't need to wait for me nanodayo," Shintaro said to Shinako when she asked him when practice would be over. She saw him by the gate, waiting for a bus with his other teammates. She saw Seijurou too but stopped herself from talking to him. He might be embarrassed by her.

"Can I watch it?" She asked. She's always been going to his matches or little games. But always keeping a distance between her and the court.

"OK nanodayo," he replied.

She walked away from him, off to get food from the cafeteria so that she won't get hungry during the match. The cafeteria was quite crowded so she went out of school, going to a cafe of shop to get food. She passed by a place called Maji Burgers and recalled that the vanilla milkshakes there were nice. She entered and bought herself two vanilla milkshakes before looking for a place to sit down. Unfortunately, all the seats were taken. Except for one. But a light blue haired boy was already sitting there. Though there was an empty sit opposite him. She walked over to the table and placed her hand on the seat.

"Excuse me," she said to blue haired boy. "Is this seat taken?"

He shook his head. "No, you can sit if you want to."

She nodded and pulled out the seat before plopping down on it.

"You look like someone." He said to her.

She nodded after taking a sip from her milkshake. "Midorima Shinako. My brother is Midorima Shintaro. I'm guessing you're a basketball player," she said, she's been more talkative since Seijurou. She observed him, though he didn't seem like a basketball player at all.

He nodded, "Yes. Third string, Kuroko Tetsuya." He replied.

"You don't look like a basketball player," she pointed out, taking another sip as she stereotyped him. "And third string? You don't sounds very good at it either."

He looked down at his drink dejectedly.

Her eyes softened, "I'm sorry if I offended you."

"It's fine Midorima-san," he replied, sipping from his drink.

She looked at her watch before standing up, "I have to go Kuroko-kun. It was nice meeting you."

He nodded as she walked away from the table.

I didn't know Midorima-kun had a sister. Kuroko Tetsuya thought, drinking his vanilla milkshake, staring as her form disappeared into the crowd.
