Chapter 16 ~ Win

Midorima Shintaro and Shinako watched as Seirin won against the school that had a foreign player. It was her first time seeing number 10 play. He was quite impressive. Kuroko too. It seems he has his new light . She thought, walking behind Shintaro. Hopefully he's not as weak as Aomine-kun.

Takao was on the rear car again, waiting for them. Shintaro and Shinako sat down and Takao started to pedal.

"Geez, wanting to watch the match today too... you're focusing so much on that guy from your middle school?!" Takao said, turning to glance to Shintaro and her.

Shinako rolled her eyes as Shintaro denied, saying he wanted to see the foreign player.

I hope they would get to challenge nii-chan... I want to talk to Kuroko-kun again. She thought, yawning loudly.

Shinako flinched as supporters from Shutoko High started to cheer loudly beside her. But she quickly paid attention when she saw number 10 approach Shintaro. She tried to listen to what they're saying but it was too noisy. Her jaw dropped when she saw number 10 write something on Shintaro's hand.

Why is he playing? She thought as she saw Shintaro take out the tape of his left hand. Probably want to show off to Seirin. She thought, rolling her eyes.

She watched as the game came to an end. She rolled her eyes once more as she saw Shintaro glance at Kuroko.

Shinako yawned as she watched Shintaro make another one of his 3 pointers in a row. It's only been five minutes but he's already being substituted. She looked at Kuroko's side of the court.

Kuroko's new light just got his third foul. It wasn't going so well.

"But if you're talking about experts, there's one in Seirin too." She turned her head and saw Kise with a black haired guy, sitting three rows away from her.

Already bored, she got out of seat and walked to them. She plopped down on the seat behind Kise, ruffling his yellow hair.

Kise jumped up and quickly looked behind, startling his black haired friend.

The look of shock was quickly replaced when he saw who it was. "Midoricchi!" Kise exclaimed, a bright smile on his face.

The black haired guy looked at her before stuttering, "Kise, w-who's that?"

Shinako frowned at him for being so rude. Why does he have to ask Kise when he can just ask me? She thought, pursing her lips.

The grin was still on Kise's face as he answered his friend. "Oh! Senpai, this is Midoricchi!"

"M-Midori?" Kasamatsu Yukio wondered out loud.

Shinako clicked her tongue and opened her mouth to answer. "Midorima Shinako," she said, flipping her green hair to the side.

Kasamatsu was surprised but refused to show it.

"Senpai, this is Midorimacchi's sister! The one I talk to you about!" Kise said cheerfully.

Shinako raised an eyebrow at Kise. She knew he was a blabbermouth but when it comes to her, what was there to even talk about?

"O-oh. Hello... I'm K-Kasamatsu Yuk-kio." He was shaking but Shinako didn't really notice. "D-do you p-play bask-ketball?"

Shinako's eyes narrowed and she pursed her lips. "No." She hated it when people ask her that. Doesn't mean her brother plays basketball, she does as well.
