Is it safe?

The best present ever!

After a hardworking amount of time and most of the time was protecting the turkey and the stuffing from the boys we made it.
As the others set up the table I went to go check up on everyone.
Baby Eleanor is taking a nap the boys are watching TV whilst the kids play with toys and everyone else is making small talk.
"Nadia?" I hear someone behind me, I turn around to see Nathan standing behind me with something behind his back.
"Yeah? You alright?" I asked
"Yeah I'm good... Hey can we go to the garden and just sit there"
"Yeah sure"  In my mind I was a bit skeptical wondering what I should use as defence if he tries to kill me, I see pillows... Great
"So urm turns out I forgot to give your present to you mostly because I didn't want it getting lost in the crowd, its not big or anything great but I guess I just felt this would be the perfect gift" I listened intently wondering what it could be... I hope its not an avocado I got that last year already.
" ok so close your eyes" Nathan ordered me "and no peaking"
I closed my eyes anticipating what was to come next until I feel his hands softly brushing against the back of my neck moving my hair out of the way sending tingles and shots of electricity down my spine, just his touch can do that to me gah I got it bad. I then felt something cold hit against my collar bone as Nathan finishes it by hooking it off and letting it hang.
I opened my eyes and immediately started to tear up... It was the exact same necklace
I immediately wrapped Nathan in the tightest hug as he held me closer.
"Thank you thank you thank you" my voice had come out really muffled because of his shoulder but it was the best present ever.
But how did he know"
Nathan how did you know" I questioned him
"Well... Ayesha and Cherry told me they remember how devastated you were when it got stolen, so Ayesha gave me a picture and I got an exact replica made for you, they told me how much it meant to you so I wanted to gift it to you to give back those memories back to you and I wanted to do it personally"
By now obviously the tears were starting to form in my eyes, he cared so much just to go through the trouble of this necklace.
"Thank you so so so much it means so much to me and this is the best birthday gift anyone has ever gotten me, thank you" I replied with all my sincerity.
"TIME FOR DINNER!" We both heard Ayesha and Cherry scream so that everyone heard and what came next was expected...
Screams and feet running like a herd of elephants running.
"Should we go inside ma'am" Nathan asked offering his hand.
"Yes we shall" I replied in a posh accent he took my hand in his which sent me in shock mode and I couldn't move.
Nathan turned back towards me, oh no don't look at me like that what came next surprised me too its like I had been possessed but I went up to Nathan and kissed his cheek and winked... Fudging winked SERIOUSLY
And I ran inside leaving him there shocked with his hand on his cheek.
"Come on Sykes!" I called out towards him and he tried to catch up but I beat him to the table.
As I sat down in between Ayesha and Cherry, they both looked at me like they haven't seen me for 20 years.
"Nadia how" they both said pointing towards the necklace remembering the moment I was sent into a fir of giggles.
"Nathan gave it to me for Christmas " I told them
"You mean..." They asked simultaneously
"Yes... Its an exact replica of my mothers necklace".
