It was now 3 pm and it was time for me to start getting ready because it takes me a very long time, as I headed upstairs I decided to draw a bath since I had not had one in a long time and I wanted to relax, as the bath was filing up I went over to the little basket I had placed in the corner of the room filled with all my babies yes... Bath bombs.
I had chosen one of my favourite phoenix rising, I really loved how the water would go purple and decided to add a few bubbles so decided in swishing the Lush bubble bar around the water, I lit some scented candles around the bath and turned the lights off because having candles as a source of lighting is relaxing, I quickly told the others not to disturb me since I was in the bath and went to go put a timer on for an hour since when I'm in the bath I never know how time flies by, in the meantime I put on a lovely facemask and started watching some movie, I wanted to watch lion king since it was my favourite and I felt like a kid again so its ok.
After an hour I decided to exit the bathroom and drying my hair, after I decided to do my makeup and style my hair as I finished everything off I went to my closet and opened the laundry bag to reveal my dress which I still admire with all my heart.
As I put on my heels I heard the doorbell ring signalling that the party was soon starting and quickly made my way downstairs

This was it there was only 10 minutes left until the New Year arrives, I'm so excited, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Nathan standing there
"Wow you look beautiful Nadia" he admired and I felt the heat reach up to my cheeks
"Thanks you don't look too bad yourself" I admired what he wore and I wasn't lying.
Nathan sure knows how to clean up he was wearing sensible dress shoes and a dress shirt with a black skinny tie, he rolled the arms of the shirt up making him look so much more attractive if that was even possible.
"Nadia lets go there 3 minutes left" Nathan told me taking my hand in his dragging me towards the garden"
We waited and all huddled up and made small talk until someone shouted that there was 1 minute left, everyone went to go find there other half since they had someone whilst me and Nathan and some random people just stood around being awkward but even then those random people walked off to someone.
"10,9,8,7,6..." it was then the countdown had begun and the butterflies had started I looked around to see that everyone looked lovingly at their partner Ayesha already going for it with Ryann, Cherry and Harry staring into each others eyes Siva with Nareesha, Tom with Kelsey, Max with Michelle and Jay with Katie, I knew it.
I felt someone hold my hand and saw that Nathan had held my hand I looked up to see his gorgeous energetic eyes stare into my deep dark browns and I felt myself get closer and closer to him until we met half way and that's when the fireworks started not only in the sky but in my stomach, the kiss was electric it was everything I had hoped for it was something I had never experienced before, Nathan's hand went around my waist and pulled me closer towards as my hand went up to his face, it was then we had to pull away because we heard the cheers of everyone and saw that they were all looking towards me. I looked down in embarrassment and felt my cheeks heating up but felt Nathan's soft finger lifting my chin so I can face him only to smile and kiss me again, and this time was the first time I had my new year's kiss and it was everything it was...MAGICAL.

And the lavender set with the nude nails are Nadia's
So it occurred to me that Nadia's dress might be too much but no other dress took my fancy than this one exactly like the book so I hope you enjoy these three updates
