Is it safe?

An awkward encounter...

"So urm, now what?" Nathan asked whilst scratching the back of his neck

"I don't have a clue, are we actually going to do the dare? I questioned clueless of what to do now

"I don't know do you want to do the dare?" Nathan looked up at me with awaiting eyes.

"I don't know do you?"

By now we were just sitting on the bed awkwardly just looking anywhere but to each other, I had set a timer of 7 minutes on my phone so we know how long we had let and so far 1 minute and 30 seconds had passed by oh god this was going to take longer than usual.

MAX P.O.V...

"I can't hear anything" I whispered to the people behind me

We all wanted Nathan and Nadia to do this I think it was quite obvious they might like each other everyone sees it all but except them, I know Nathan had gone through a lot but I think that Nadia could be his key to happiness and the lads and I can't wait for the day he is back to being his jolly and happy self.

"I have an idea" Cherry whispered in case they would have heard

We all turned towards her as she explained the plan after hearing it out in all the detail a smile had formed on my lips and I looked around and saw the same expressions on everyone's lips, let's do this...

NATHAN'S P.O.V...

"Nadia how long left?" I asked wondering how much longer I'm going to feel awkward

"3 more minutes and we are done" she replied

Oh god 3 more minutes and we are still awkward, I decided to go on my phone since staring into the abyss isn't blissful enough, I decided to text Jay wondering what's happening out there since it's too quiet

"Jay what's going on?" I texted Jay

"Nothing we are sorting out where everyone is going to sleep" Jay replied

I decided to start a conversation since we are getting nowhere.

"Hey Nadia tell me a little about yourself? I mean I know nothing" I said as she turned towards me.

"Urm, well I grew up in London and it started off as boring until I grew up and saw lots of opportunities, I moved out of my parent's house when I was 18 and joined the centre since I didn't enjoy all my previous jobs" She explained

"What about you?" Nadia asked me,

"Well I grew up in Gloucester until I was 16 and tried out for The Wanted and was accepted and since then I guess we have been touring around promoting the band and then we came here to learn how to dance better and yeah here we are present day"

"That's quite interesting"

Just then Nadia's phone had gone off signalling that it was now the end of 7 minutes which oddly felt longer than they should have been

NADIA'S P.O.V...

"Well this was fun but I think everyone is tired so I think we should all hit the haystack" I said whilst reaching for the door knob.

I tried pulling it open hmm, that's odd

"Nathan did you lock the door on your way in?" I asked

"No why?" Nathan replied

Being curious Nathan stepped forward to see if the door would open but it didn't budge it was... locked.

"Guys is anyone there?" Nathan called out to the other side.

"Yeah mate we are here "Tom called out.

"The door won't open can someone go get the keys please" I told them.

"Ayesha go get the keys" I heard Ryan tell Ayesha

After 5 minutes Ayesha came back with some bad news

"Urm there's a problem we can't find the keys, so I guess you're stuck in there"

I turned to see Nathan with a shocked expression on his face, I walked up to him to see what's wrong until he showed me the message.

And with that I heard footsteps leading away from the door.

"Oh guys come on please" I begged them but I got shrugged off by a bunch of laughs.

I turned to Nathan who stood there awkwardly.

"Well I guess you could sleep on the bed and I'll take the couch" I managed to speak out

To which Nathan shook his head no and started to make himself comfortable on the sofa, I didn't know what to do so I went to the bathroom to go and change and get ready for bed.

"Nadia do you have a spare toothbrush" Nathan said whilst poking his head round the door.

I nodded yes and opened the cabinet to grab the spare toothbrush I keep, to which I gave to Nathan in response to I got a hearty smile that made my heart flutter.

After Nathan and I had finished brushing our teeth we decided to get cosy for bed and we didn't say much but soon the siren of slumber came to me but only to ruin my means of peace.

"Any last words bitch before I send you away forever"

He stood there with a gun pointing to me at point blank range, as I closed my eyes and mentally embraced myself for what was to come next

BAM!

He shot someone I slowly opened my eyes to see I hadn't gotten shot instead someone stood in front of me as they fell to their knees and it was then I realised that the lifeless body was in fact... Nathan.

"It's ok Nadia you're ok I promise you"

I woke up to Nathan shaking me frantically I remembered my dream and immediately started crying whereas Nathan decided to lie in bed with me and hold me, I didn't know what that dream could have meant but it was something I didn't want to encounter... EVER!

I guess I was too tired because all that I remember was Nathan singing me to sleep whilst slumber called my name with a smile on my face because Nathan was there with me...I felt safe for the first time in years... I felt like I was in the arms of my guardian angel.
