A/N Harry Potter Ouran Crossover AU

Ouran School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I'm sorry if this name change makes anyone uncomfortable, but I really hope none of you are here to debate semantics.

Within that magical school, was a small, even more elite group of young men. They were purebloods, and amongst the richest and most affluent. They spanned three of the four houses, and consisted of the following: Suoh Tamaki, son of the headmaster and a Hufflepuff. He was amiable, sweet, and somewhat bumbling, but he was also incredibly loyal to his friends.

Ootori Kyouya, a Slytherin if there ever was one. He was intelligent, sharp, and knew how to utilise his strengths to their fullest capacity. While he could seem charming and polite to those who look on from afar, those who know him are aware of his dual nature. He was not someone you wanted to make an enemy of.

Morinozuka Takashi and Haninozuka Mitsukuni, better known as Mori and Honey to others. They were Gryffindors: brave, strong fighters who had a legacy going far back. Honey was known for his cheerful nature, and his love for sweet foods, while Mori was seen as a strong, disciplined and dedicate soldier.

Finally, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, better known as the Hitachiin twins. The two were identical twins, physically alike in every way, and hardly ever seen without the other being present in some form or fashion. They were Slytherins, and an oddly vindictive pair at that. They were irreparable tricksters, and were incredibly fond of playing practical jokes on anyone unfortunate enough to catch their fancy.

In spite of this, the twins were liked by a lot of the student body, most likely because they were handsome, witty, and – to those who were not on the receiving end – their tricks were seen as funny. To a few of their victims however, the twins had only one redeeming feature.

Daichi Kyoko, a quiet Ravenclaw student who was almost always seen with the twins. The three shared an incredibly close relationship, and Hikaru and Kaoru valued her thoughts and opinions. So if the twins had played a prank on you, put bulbadox powder in your clothes, or replaced your cup with a Nose Biting Teacup, then you didn't want to go to them to apologise for whatever it was you'd done to piss them off (because while vengeful, they almost always had a good reason for their actions). Oh no, you went to Kyoko. You had a smaller chance of messing up in front of her.

How the three of them met was an interesting story, and it happened in a Potions class. The twins were not the best at the, at times, complicated subject, but they could create acceptable samples on the days when they deigned to pay attention.

That was not one of those days. "Hikaru, Kaoru!" The teacher snapped at the two redheads, who looked up with falsely innocent expressions. "I take it you're done with your brewing?"

They glanced down at the cauldron. The liquid inside had turned a murky purple colour. Huh, that's probably not right. They shook their heads simultaneously, and waited for the professor to sniff angrily and walk away.

Hikaru glanced at his twin. "Do you know what we're supposed to be doing?"

"Not at all."

"Something about a draught?"

"Is it supposed to be purple?"

"I don't even know what it's supposed to be!"

"Draught of Peace." A voice whispered. They both looked forward in surprise, and the girl in front of them looked slightly nervous by their sudden attention. "We're making the Draught of Peace. You need to add more of the powdered unicorn horn until it turns pink."

They both stared at her for a moment, and then grinned widely. "Thanks!" They replied, and then could say no more when the teacher strolled back. Still, all through the class they made no secret of where they were looking. They eyed her up, and down, from her thick brown hair, to the scuffed black shoes she was wearing.
