Lukes pov
Management thinks I'm the most careless in the band so they want me to adopt a young child. For me to gain responsibility and publicity. So I looked up the best adoption centers in the area. There was a lady who fosters near by. I think I'll check her out. I went to her blog.I am Debrah DeValez. I am 35 years old. I have been a foster parent for many years. My husband left me when we discovered that I couldn't have children of our own because of a internal disease I have. So I decided that I would treat these children as my own. I have 17 to 2 year olds. All children here have a different story. So I try to understand that they all need different care. But I live on (insert address.) If you are interested please come. All children should have second chancess
I started looking through the pictures of the kids she has. I definitely don't want a girl. You know periods, drama, boys. A guy on his own can't handle that. Maybe when I get a wife. I keep scrolling and I found a small boy. He looked like he was ten. I checked his age. 14. Wow ok. I kept reading more about him. His father abandoned his mother and him. But his mom died in a horrible accident a year ago. He has had one other adoption people but the family neglected him. He is a quiet boy. Who holds a lot of things in. I want him.
"Cal, Ash I'll be back later!" I grabbed my keys and and went to the address given on the website.
When I got there. I knocked on the door. A lady opened the door and smiled.
"Hi, are you the male here about Michael." She asked.
"Yes ma'am." I smiled.
She opened the door and let me in. We walked to a room down the hall. A boy with dirty blond hair in a fringe looked at me.
"Mikey this is, Mr.Hemmings. He wants to adopt you. Pack your things." She said. The boys eyes filled with worry abd fear.
The lady and I went back downstairs. I signed papers while she talked about likes and dislikes. Soon enough, though, Michael came down the stairs. He ran to the foster woman's arms.
"Mikey, this is good for you, okay?" She smiled when he nodded.
"Ready to go, bud?" he nodded. I walked up to him to help him get his bag in the car and he flinched. I ignored it and continued. He got in the passenger seat and I drive home. We made small chit chat. I got home and introduced him to ash and Cal.
"Hey Luke, me and cal are going on a date, so it will be you two tonight for a while." Ashton said. I nodded and then I went up and got the guest room ready for Mikey.
"Thank you " I looked behind ne to see Mikey with his head down.
"No problem babe," I say. "Well its almost 10 so I'm going to bed. If you need me I am to beside you on the right." He nodded.
I went and quickly took a shower.
Right after my shower I started to walk back to my room, but stopped when I heard Michaels voice.
"Hey mom, I hope hevan is beautiful. I miss you very much. We couldn't the semi truck crashed into my side of the door? I got adopted today. He seems really nice, but I can't trust anyone. Life was so much easier with you, in my headspace. I love you, mom, goodnight"
Headspace? I'll ask him later. I go to bed without a word.
In the morning...I woke up to a crash. It came from Michael's room.
I ran to him room to see him on his floor, crying.
"Hey, hey it's okay buddy."
"Daddy?" He questioned.
"Yeah. Buddy I'm your new daddy."
"Mikey's new daddy." He smiled. He turns his Cry's and sobs to sniffles. I'm confused.
I carry Michael, who is now asleep, back to my room. I get my laptop. I search 'headspace.'
It comes up,
Headspace: this could be many things. If people do ageplay then the other will have a headspace of a young or older usually younger person...
I quit right there, I knew that's what this was. I went online and bought onesies, pacis, a crib, diapers, and other needed things for a baby. I looked down at Mikey. I this makes him happy.
5 months later..
I still did ageplay with Michael. I told Cal and Ash and they are his uncles. They spoil him worse than I do. I'm happy I found Mikey I actually do have more responsibility. But more importantly I love him and found where I belong.
