So this chapter will be a few helpful tips if you're ever thinking about writing a book with someone else, such as a friend or family member.

[1] Know Your Roles
This basically means to lay down what the two of you agree on doing. But it has to be a good balance for it, prioritize your time and keep at it because both of you being inspired at the same time can cause a few issues.

Try to make sure your writing styles are the same, because several different voices can confuse the reader. I'm sure you can fix this problem if you have two different point of views, allowing yourself and your partner to write two different characters.

[2] Compromise
This one is kind of obvious. But you will have to compromise with your partner, and if you don't think that you can do that, maybe a partner in writing isn't the best option for you.

[3] Pull Your Weight
Honestly, how would you feel if your partner was doing all of the work? Kind of like an idiot I'm going to assume. Or better yet, how would you feel if you were doing all of the work? Probably very frustrated. So pull your weight, it's a partnership.

[4] Outline
I would say that this is probably one of the most beneficial things to do if you're going to be collaborating with someone. You both need to be on the same page about what you two are writing or else there will be a ton of conflicts in the future.

[5] Legal Stuff?
If you both are wanting to get this book published, you should probably go over the legal stuff that goes with it.

(A/N: Sorry for the short chapter, I've never collaborated before, so I don't know a ton on this subject.)
