Ryder's POV------
My traveling partner, Travis, had accidentally lost MY communication amulet, man we had some good times. Until this demon thing took him away. Said that he needed to be back and just like that he was gone. And the worst part, since my amulet was gone, we couldn't talk, or communicate, at all. I came back to this town to see my Dad, Aaron, and get my amulet back.
I walked down a path that was covered in vines. I almost tripped on a vine. I wondered into the forest. In and out of house until around 9 pm. I heard a voice in the distance.
"Ryder! You need to get back inside the shadow souls might get to you, and I don't want to lose you again."
"Give me five minutes, Dad. I'm looking for something of great importance."
"And what would that be?"
"A communication amulet. One of my best traveling partners lost my amulet. And I want to see him again."
"Can I help?"
"I mean, I guess you can. If you see anything purple or gem like, bring it to me Dad."
"Okay, Ryder, but by sun down I want to be back at home."
It was about 5 minutes till sundown when something caught my eye. It was purple and gem like. It was far away. I sprinted to it. Pass Dad, who was just kind of wondering around. I grabbed it and spoke.
"TRAVIS! TRAVIS! CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
Dad came running up to me when a voice came out.
"Ryder? RYDER? HOW HAVE YOU BEEN? It's been like 6 years right?"
"Yeah! It's so good to hear your voice again. Where have you been."
"It's a long story. But Dude! Have you found your Dad yet?"
"Yeah, he is right here. I found him today actually."
Dad approached the amulet "Hello? I'm Aaron, Ryder's dad."
"Well, it's nice to meet the man himself! We kept on hearing about this guy who was very mysterious and stuff like that and we HAD to meet him, then we figured that it was Ryder's r Dad. He was pretty stoked that day!"
"Really?" He looked so happy hearing that.
"Yup!"
"Dad it's getting to be sundown. We should head home" I said, I honestly just wanted this conversation to be over.
"I guess you are right." He said looking at the pink sunset.
"Bye Travis! Talk to you tomorrow!"
"Alright Ryder, I'll talk to you tomorrow!"
Dad and I walked home. Into the purple sky.
