As he lay still on the ground he tried to remember the events that happened before this but it was hard considering he couldn't even remember who he was. His name was Dan, but that's all he could remember. Had absolutely no idea who he was. Well except for his name. He didn't remember he lived in the city. He didn't remember that he lived in a giant pent house (basically at the top of the world). He didn't remember that although he was 16 he acted like a 5 year old. He didn't remember being spoiled and getting whatever he wanted; and when he didn't get what he wanted he'd scream and cry and claim that his mother and father didn't love him. He didn't have any thoughts about what the people around him felt. He didn't care if someone on the street was on the verge of death and begging for money so they could get food.
Even though he had about 1,000 dollars in his pockets where ever he went he'd look at people who were poor in disgust. He never pitied them, he just thought they were a waste of space. He was almost an empty capsule of a human being. He had almost no emotions for anything. The only emotions he could express were disgust, anger, and greed. He thought that things like happiness and joy were just emotions felt by arrogant people who were easily fooled by life. He had dug himself a hole of ugly emotions. He knew that everyone hated him, but he didn't care what they thought. He thought his life was perfect. Although that was when he remembered it. He had no recollection of his awful personality. It was as if he had a second chance at being more than an emotionless monster.
