My Teacher, My Lover, My Kylo Ren

Chapter 9

--Christmas dinner-

Everyone was kind of awkward about the whole situation. Rey was getting around on crutches and sat by me. Everyone was avoiding eye contact with anyone.

"So-" I started. "There is some more news-"

"What could you possibly add to this?" Leia asked curtly

"Well as you know that Kylo and I have been dating for a while." They all nodded, softly grumbled "and well I am going to be having a baby" I said slowly, quickly drinking the water I was having with my meal.

There was a hush that fell over the room "congrats" Luke said.

"Are you kidding me?" Leia rolled her eyes

"Really" Kylo smiled. His eyes filled with something else, I could only assume it was love.

Han laughed. And Rey was too stunned to form any words.

"Well done Kylo. Not only have you been dating a student. You didn't practice using...."

"It happens. Besides Uncle Luke had a child with one of his students." He cut off his father

Rey choked on a drink she taking. "Excuse me. This conversation is getting a bit too bizarre." She limped as fast as she could away.

"You always said I should be more about family!" Kylo continued. "And amethyst isn't into school much."

"No, but she was into you." Han commented. Leia drew him a look.

"Why can't we just do things slowly and normally in this family?" Leia asked.

"None of us are normal!" Han said. "We might as well accept it. Come on. You know you're going to end up having to get used to the idea and you'll end up in love the baby they have..."

Leia sighed. "Oh what does it matter now it's done."

"What a magical moment" Rey mumbled. She didn't make it out of the room. It was too hard.

"Ben, you cannot just have a child out of wedlock" Leia was done with her dinner by now.

"Well-" He started

"You need to marry her. No negotiations" she cut him off. "I don't care how it is done. No grandchild of mine is going to be like this."

"That's not how you were with Ben" Luke muttered. Leia glared "just sayin."

"It wasn't my fault Han didn't get a proper person with a licence to marry us the first time."

"It's not my fault he wasn't licensed!"

"Look does it matter? As long as everyone's happy and healthy right? Kylo will marry Amethyst when he's ready and vice Versa." Rey said. "But if you decided to get married right now i became one of those ordained ministers back when I was at the orphanage. " everyone looked a little stunned. She shrugged "I had to make pocket somehow."

"You have to stand to conduct a wedding ceremony. I doubt you could if you had puppet strings attached to you." Han said.

"Han don't discriminate!" Leia groaned.

"It's true. We'd mostly want our wedding videoed." Kylo says. "If she was sitting a wheelchair, we'd not see her and it's proof the eve took place."

"Chewey could marry you!" Rey said.

I laughed. " we could get him a little Bow tie for conducting the ceremony!"

"Better yet we could put a saddle on him.." Han began.
