I walked next to Dallas as we walked into the cafeteria. I looked up to find Kyle turning around and spotting me. He had a bruise on his jaw. I suddenly felt really bad so I looked away from him. I sat down on a empty spot at our table and looked up to find ever one staring at me with concerned faces. "Don't worry about it." I say trying to get them to not pay attention to me.

"I have to talk to you." Nash says standing up and grabbing my arm.

I look over at Dallas to get the okay. He nods and goes back to talking to Mike.

Nash drags me out into the hallway and stops.

"What the hell is going on?"

I look at her with a stunned expression. Nash never curses. "Nothing."

"Don't tell me nothing. Kyle got a giant bruise on his jaw and Dallas has just randomly became over protective with you. Sure it's nothing." She says making quotations in the air.

I look at her. "Fine!" I sigh telling her everything that had happened last night.

She looks at me. "It's not over Kat."

"I know." I sigh looking downward. "But I'm not going to get anywhere near Kyle when Dallas is watching me like a hawk."

Nash turns her head to look at the door her eyes open up in surprise.

"Hey Kat." I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn to see Kyle standing there. "Hey."

"I'm sorry about last night. I don't know what came over me."

"It's alright."

"Good." Kyle says. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"If were going to date. Can you stay away from Dallas?"

I stop, feeling stunned. "Yeah."

"Alright." Kyle says hugging me. "Were girlfriend and boyfriend now." He says wrapping his arm around my shoulders and leads me back into the cafeteria. I look over at our table and spot Dallas. His eyes meet mine and I feel my heart break. I quickly look away as Kyle has me sit on his lap at his table.

I followed Nash all the way tell she finally stopped in front of Dallas's house. I got out of my car and walked up to her. "Why are we here?"

"Dallas invited all of us over for a friends night."

I nod and follow her up to the front door. She knocked and Mike opens the door.

"Good we've got our to favorite chicks here."

I roll my eyes while feeling my stomach tense as I follow Nash into the house. Jared and Colton were laying on the couch with a beer in there hands. Jared sits up a little when he sees Nash.

"Dallas is in the kitchen." Mike says taking a seat on one of the couches.

I nod feeling tears forming in eyes knowing what I have to tell him. Nash pushes me into the kitchen and right when I go to leave the kitchen I hear his voice.

"Kat." He says surprised. "You came."

I nod and turn around so he can see me. "Yeah I came." I say putting my hands in my back pockets.

He nods and looks downwards.

"I think we need to talk." I say opening his back door and going outside.

I sit down on the concrete bench outside. After a couple minutes Dallas comes out and sits next to me.

"I can't see you anymore."

Dallas looks up at me. "What?"

"I can't see you anymore." I say hearing my voice crack.

"Kat. Why?"

"I just can't." I say trying to hid the tears that are slowly running down my face.

Dallas gets off the bench and kneels down in front of me whipping my tears away. "I can change."

I shake my head. "That's not it."

"Than what is it."

"I can't tell you."

He stands up and pulls me into a hug.

My tears fall faster as I smell his scent. I force myself to push him away. "I have to go."

I walk back into the house and walk out the front door with tears blurring my vision.

"Kat!" I hear Dallas yell.

I ignore him and keep walking feeling the rest of my heart break as I start my car engine. I pull out of the neighborhood and wipe my tears. I look back up and I see a car coming straight at me. My whole body freezes and that's when everything went black.

~Author's note~
