Wendy's POV
"Wendy, can you explain what happened in the washroom?" Mrs Winston asked me while I sat on the bed. She was sitting on a stool in front of me while Jessica, Edwin, Henry and Mrs Elaine, the principal stood behind her.
"When I came out of the cubicle, someone suddenly grabbed my collar and pulled me to the front where the sink was and when I looked into the mirror, it was her... Alina Miller." I said and slowly got my phone out, and with my hands shaking I played the recording.
"Ah!" I cried out in pain.
"Is it not enough?!" She shouted and a thud was heard through the recording where I hit my head on the wall.
"So... It was you who fabricated the Handwriting results and handed it over to the school." I said.
"Yeah, I did it. So what? You don't have any prove, and I can just say that my parents did it."
"You think I don't have any evidence?"
"Even if you have, the school only have the contact number of Teresa, the person who helped me with fabricating of the results. And besides, the principal was too stupid and actually believed that the person who she talked to about me bullying others, was my parents. But who she actually talked to all this time was Teresa."
"Wait, stop." Mrs Elaine stopped me and I paused the recording.
"Could you explain what she meant?"
"She said that the person you called wasn't her parents but another person called, Teresa. Teresa actually helped her with fabricating the test results and not her parents. So, in another words, the person you called to report her of her wrong doings wasn't her parents but Teresa. Her parents also had no idea what she has been doing so far, they are innocent." I explained.
"Wow...I cannot believe a student could actually so this." Mrs Winston said in disbelieve.
"Okay, you can continue." Mrs Elaine said and I resumed it.
"So? What are you gonna do?" Alina said and a sound of her slapping me was heard.
"Go ahead and report me."
"Go ahead!" she shouted before rustling sounds and a thud of me falling down could be heard.
"Finally... Taking out my anger on you was actually quite a good thing. I can punish you and release my anger building in me at the same time."
"Anyway, I better get going before anyone comes in."
"Oh, before I forget. Make you don't say anything about the injuries you have or you know what'll happen, right?" she said before the slamming of the door was heard.
With some rustling sounds, the recording came to an end. Silence fell upon the room as they were shocked with what they just heard.
"Wow... So this is how Alina bullies people, huh?" Edwin commented.
"This is just simply too cruel." Jessica said.
"Okay, Wendy. You get some rest; I'll inform the teacher for your next period that you're not feeling well." Mrs Winston said and got up from her seat.
"The rest of you, please go back to class. The principal and I needs to discuss some matters." she continued and all of them made their way out.
When they left, I slowly lowered myself into a sleeping position.
When I thought that everything had went back to normal, went back to the way it was, another problem arises. I wonder when I will be able to go back to the time when it was only Jessica and I.
As I gave it more thought, the more I realised that going back to how it was before was nearly impossible. Ever since Edwin decided to step into my life, my whole world became a different one...

As my mum and Lucy clapped to a beat, the four year olds, Edwin and I were holding hands while walking down an isle. We were pretending that we're getting married. Edwin actually wanted to copy our uncle and aunty who recently got married at a church, and so, here we were, pretending to get married.
"Yay! We're getting married!" he shouted as he raised his right hand which was free and both mums who were sitting at the side giggled at the comment.
"It feels like we're grown-ups!" I shouted as we continued walking down. When we arrived at the end, we didn't know what to do.
"What do we do now?" I asked mum.
" You should exchange rings, right? Edwin, you do it first."
"Okay!" he said and pretended to put a ring on my ring finger by sliding across it with is thumb and pointer.
"It's your turn, Wendy."
I then did the same as Edwin did.
"Then? What are you supposed to do?" Lucy asked.
"Kiss!" Edwin shouted.
"I'll go first." I said and gave a peck on his cheek.
"My turn!" He shouted and gave a peck on my forehead.
"Yay! We're married!" Both Edwin and I shouted and we hugged each other while jumping.
The beautiful scene started to fade and bright lights started to consume my vision as I opened my eyes. Reality came rushing back to me.
Alina Miller. Bully. Framing. The truth.
I turned to my left and saw Edwin looking at his phone, scrolling away.
"Hey..." I said in a husky voice. Having heard how my voice sounded, I coughed to clear my throat.
"Oh, you're awake. Are you okay?" he asked as he came closer. My heartbeat started to increase and the temperature around me started to increase as my face heated up.
"What's the time now?"
"School ended half an hour ago."
"What?! Why didn't you come wake me up in between classes?" I asked, shocked at how long I've sleeping.
"Mrs Winston told us not to, she wanted you to rest." I sighed.
"Anyway, you've been here ever since school ended?"
"Yeah... I didn't really want to go home. Jessica and Henry went home already."
"By the way... Your injuries look bad... How the hell did Alina beat you into a pulp?" he said as he reached his hand over to my forehead and I stared at him as my face started to heat up.
"Oops, sorry." he said as he pulled his hand back.
"Come on, Mrs Winston and Mrs Elaine wanted to see you once you are awake." Edwin said and got up, with my bag pack in his hands.
