{Chapter 26}

«Louis POV»

Oh god! I was mad and I lost it. Blew everything out of proportion. I didn't mean to make Brisa cry. I wrapped my arms around her and she didn't back away like she usually does. This position we were in was as fragile as a glass wall, one wrong move and I'd shatter it. After awhile, Brisa stopped crying and smiled tiredly.

"You remind me so much of Logan." She said "Same eyes same smile, and same personality."

"Who's Logan?" I asked, feeling my blood turn cold. It couldn't be.

"My late best friend..." Brisa whispered so quietly that I just heard it. Another tear fell from her eye.

"Oh. I'm so sorry." I said flatly

"Sorry?" She said, laughing humorlessly and pulling away from me "Sorry doesn't bring him back!"

"I know that. I know how you feel." I said calmly

"Know how I feel? KNOW how I FEEL?! You know how it feels to be completely happy and then one day have your best friend TAKEN FROM YOU LIFE?! When he never deserved to die! When it was COMPLETELY your fault!" Brisa screamed

"Brisa-" I started

"Want to hear a story?" She asked, not even waiting for a reply she started a story

"Once I was a lonely little girl. I'd just moved to a new town and knew nobody. Logan Austin befriended me and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Skip to our first year high school and we're still best friends." Brisa said, trying not to cry "One day, I get a call from his mom. She told me to come to their house quickly. Said it was urgent."

"I got there to find out he had been diagnosed with cancer a few years back but refused chemo. He did it so that I wouldn't worry about him. He was so pale and weak the last time I saw him. Logan's very last words to me alone were 'You'll forever be my best friend. I'll love you forever Bri-Bri'." This is where she crumbled again and she let the tears fall. I shed some tears of my own.

"In his will he left most of his possessions to me; some of his clothes and all his pictures of us were all I could bear to keep. I have all the photos on a digital locket. And I wear a piece of his clothing every day. Today it's my jacket. For my first concert, it was the tank top." She added

"I'm so sorry Brisa. And I know saying it won't change anything." I say "But I think you'd like to know that the Logan you're talking about may be my half-brother."

"What? Louis, I swear to god if your joking I will PERSONALLY murder you!" Brisa threatened

"No! My dad, my real dad, had split from my mum when I was young. Him and his girlfriend (or wife, idk!) had a baby 2 years after. I explained "He was named Logan. And then 5 years after him, a girl named Georgia."

"Logan did have a sister named Georgia! She was 10 when he died." Brisa mumbled to herself

We stood there for a moment before I hugged Brisa again. She looked like she was about to say something when the others came running over.

"You guys should have come, that was SO MU-" Rocky started

"Are we interrupting something?" Asked Rydel
