{Chapter 37}

«Jaden's POV»

Not even a moment after I arrived at the airport, my step-sister and my half-siblings attacked me.

"Jaden!" my step-sis, Michelle squealed.

She wrapped me in a warm hug and I hugged back.

My little half-brother came running up too, embracing me. He grinned up at me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey Sam!" I say

My dad and step-mom hugged me too and I got to hold my new baby sister.

"Hi Kylie." I coo at the infant, carrying her out to the car.

She gurgled in reply. I strapped her into the car seat and got in beside her.

I was staying with my dad and his wife for half the week then I was going to stay with my mom and her husband.

"So what's the plan?" I ask, as we got out of the car at my dad's house.

My sister and I were walking down the long hallway to our old bedroom. It's now technically Kylie's room but pulling out the extra beds turned it into a guest room in a pinch.

Plan?" Asked Michelle, confused

"Our plan is to go commando then" I say, laughing

We walked into the old room and I smiled. The walls were the same boring white, the furniture in the same spot except for the crib and my parents had even put my old bedspread on the bed. The familiarness was comforting. I fell face first on my bed and my skirt flipped up. Michelle started laughing.

"What?" I asked.

I looked down and realized I hadn't put in shorts under my skirt. I was blushing a bright red but laughed anyways.

Michelle laughed even harder but managed to say "Looks like the plan isn't the only thing that went commando."
