Chapter Twelve: I'm Sorry

Atami POV

We arrived back at the ship & I followed Thatch to Whitebeard again but I sunk the Marine ship first, as usually Whitebeard was sitting in this huge chair with everyone standing around him

"Did you find it?"

"We did." Thatch pulled out the fruit & everyone was impressed "& a little something happened."

"Which is?"

"Atami can't die."

"What?"

"See for yourself." Thatch threw me a sword & I nodded, I stabbed myself where the other wound was &  I couldn't fell it, I can't feel pain

"ATAMI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"

"Like what Thatch said, I cannot die." I pulled the sword out & everyone was shocked "It sorta sucks that I'm immortal now."

"See, that was my first reaction to it."

"Well I can't feel it." I said while touching it "Its weird."

Time Skip - Third Person POV

Thatch handed Atami the Devil Fruit while she was suppose to see which one it is, since she stole a book on Devil Fruits. Atami looked in the book & flicked through the pages, soon enough it started raining hard & than there was thunder. The good think is that Atami & Opal have a room of their own & Opal was in a deep sleep

"Logia, the *yawn* Yami Yami No Mi." she put her hand through my hair, it was real late but she needed to see how powerful this Devil Fruit is "Translation: Dark Dark Fruit. It is that it allows the user to control darkness *yawn* & its unique property of gravity." she stretched until when she looked at the desk she noticed a shadow "What?" when she was going to turn around something stabbed her, & she felt it. When Atami fully turn around she saw Teach with her dagger [turned into a dagger] & the Devil Fruit

"Nighty night Water Witch."

"Bastard..." he dropped the dagger when Opal woke up

"Teach? get out of here!" when he did & noticed Atami on the ground she seemed angry "M-Master?" she crouched down to her

"I'm *cough* okay."

"Let me get you some water!" first she gently placed her on the bed & ran to the bathroom & got some water, when she was back she poured the water on her wound, than it started to heal. Opal started to bandage it & Atami felt a little better "Lay here Master Atami, please."

"Okay." soon Atami fell asleep with Opal in her tiger form next to her, when Atami woke up she heard Ace & the others up

"Let me help you up."

"No no, I can *limps a bit* do it myself." she slowly nodded before Atami got up fully & walked out

"Where's Teach? he's usually here."

"He's gone." when they looked at Atami & the blood they were all shocked at what happened

"Atami! what happened?!"

"Teach stabbed me with my dagger & stole the Devil Fruit. I'm guessing my sword is the only thing that can hurt me."

"Teach..."

"Ace?" they all look at him

"I'M GOING TO KILL THAT BASTARD!!" Marco & Thatch tried to calm him down but it didn't work so they tried dragging him away from his little boat powered by him

"Ace calm down, I'm completely fine."

"I WILL KILL HIM!!"

"ACE!" this time he looked at her "Will you just get over the fact that I almost died, this is exactly how you acted when Sabo died." [at this moment Atami knew, she fucked up] "Shit, I didn't mean that!"

"I get it, I overreact when someone close to me dies or almost dies, but please let me do it." Atami was thinking hard if to or not to let him, he had a begging face on than she finally cave in

"Fine." he smiled a little before saying

"Thank you & sorry." Thatch & Marco let go of Ace as he jumped down from the deck into his little boat & sailed away

"I'm such an idiot, I should have said no!"

"This isn't your fault Atami."

"But it is, that Devil Fruit that Teach took was the Yami Yami No Mi, its a Logia Fruit & its very powerful, even more powerful than the Mera Mera No Mi." 

"Wow, you really fucked up."

"Thatch-yoi!"

"No, he's right."

"Master Atami, what do WE do now?" she thought for awhile, before looking up

"We're leaving."

"What?!" Thatch yelled

"I have no reason to stay anymore, the main reason why I stayed is because Ace was here. Also he's been begging me to stay or join." 

"At least let us drop you off at a Island, you don't exactly have a boat or anything."

"That would be nice, thank you Thatch." that's when she kissed his cheek, than walked back to her room leaving Thatch blushing like a mad man

Atami POV

I & Opal were on an Island & we thanked the Whitebeard Pirates for everything, when we turned to walk to the village I spotted a couple of Marines so we ran into a bar

"Are y'all hungry?" the bartender asked

"Yes please." I had the money so we were able to eat... a lot, its like I have a bottomless stomach "Sorry if we're making a mess."

"No no, if you have money I don't mind but if you don't, get out."

"We do have money."

"Okay." I sweat drop, that change of expression! After eating a lot of food we paid for it & left to at least take a ship. Say there we a dozen ships at the docks & the only ship that had a Jolly Roger was the one we were going to take it

Once we stole the ship I took off the Jolly Roger & we just sailed away, into the Grand Line [Unless there already in the Grand Line]
