Chapter Forty-Two || Go Luffy!!

Atami POV

I was wandering around the Colosseum since I got a little bored after a couple minutes, I could tell that Bartolomeo was a Devil Fruit User. I can tell by his blood & lack of fighting, he wasn't afraid when Hack came to punch him since something happened, I just don't know what. I was lost in thought when I accidentally bumped into someone

"Oh, sorry I wasn't looking." 

"What a beautiful lady." I look at this person & see it was that same guy Luffy & Ace were talking to, Cavendish

"Hello."

"Can I have your name madam?"

"Ah sure, its Ella. I'm in Block E."

"Good, I'm in Block D."

"Alright Cavendish, see ya." just as I leave him I hear him say

"She knows my name." I sigh, I hear Gyats say that Bartolomeo won & everyone else was groaning. I chuckle. When I was wandering around I looked out the window that had bars, the toys were playing happily with the people, as I put my hands on the bars my left hand starts to burn

"Fuck!" I look at reddened hand & hiss "I totally forgot about that." it heals & I look at my other arm, I touch my shoulder

"Why couldn't 'this' scar heal?" I take one last glance at the people before leaving

"We shall now begin, Block C!" from where I was I saw Luffy, he wasn't exactly fighting but was laughing. He then ran over to the Brutal Bull, it was pretty pissed but after a couple seconds Luffy tamed it

"Looks like someone was able to tame this wild beast & ride the Grim Reaper! With his cool strength he instantly became a crowd favorite! Lucy!" Luffy starts laughing, with the rest of the crowd

"*Chuckles* Luffy really is a big clown." I start laughing but then stopped when the Giant targeted Luffy & the Bull. He brings his fist up, then brings it down, crushing them in a instant. The whole crowd gasps, I just chuckle

"That would work on him, he's made of rubber." when the Giant walks away Luffy gets up, he gently touches the Bull then looks at the Giant, with anger. He was now in Second Gear & he disappears, he reappears right besides the Giant

"Jet Pistol!" he punches the giant in the face & he falls to the ground, he picks up the Bull & places him on the edge of the arena

"Strength of a man, but the heart of a softy. Still the same old lovable Luffy."

~ Lazy Time Skip ~ Third Person POV

Luffy was able to defeat many gladiators but there was one, one that wanted him dead. His name was Don Chin Jao. He seemed like a hopeless old man, but he was fucking ruthless when it came to Garp & his grandson Luffy 

"You'll pay for what Garp did to me!"

"Like I said, I don't know what your talking about! talk to my grandpa!" Ace was able to hear the conversation & he face palmed

"Idiot." Atami was laughing her ass off when she saw him crying

"I never knew Luffy knew Haki, I'm very proud." Luffy clenched his fist & used Busoshoku Haki, so did Don Chin Jao. As the two run at each other Sai & Ideo started fighting in front of them. Luffy easily took out Sai & Don Chin easily took out Ideo, the two were finally in front of each other & their fist clashed at each other causing a strong shock wave. When they jump away from each other, the other gladiators fell to the ground

"Who taught you how to use Haki?"

"Rayleigh." Atami stopped laughing & had a serious face on

"Rayleigh? the Dark Knight. Who was apart of Dads crew." she looks at Luffy again to see if he was joking, he wasn't "I wonder if Ace knows about this." he did indeed know, Ace refused to train with him if he was apart of his 'fathers' crew, but eventually Luffy got Ace to agree

"Rayleigh is still alive? doesn't matter, I'll still be able to kill you.

"LUCY!! KICK HIS ASS!!" Atami yelled. Luffy looked around for her voice but wasn't able to find it

"Alright, whoever said that, I'll get his ass."

~ Another Lazy ASS Time Skip ~

Luffy was in the air & his fist was huge & was using the Busoshoku Haki, Chin Jao was using the Haki on his head & jumped into the air

"Gomu Gomu No... Thor! Elephant Gun!" as he brought his fist onto Chin Jao it created another shock wave, it took Luffy a lot of force but he was able to bring his head back to normal, it was back to its original pointy form. He fell unconscious & was falling head first to the ground, when he did it formed a big crack in the arena & he fell into the water

"Oh, it looks like Chin Jao has left the ring! That means that Lucy has defeated the legendary Pirate & is moving onto the Finals! Lets hear it for Lucy the Gladiator!" everyone started cheering, even Ace, Sabo & Atami

"Go Luffy!!"
