Chapter Twenty-One: Marco & Devina

Atami POV

Pops asked Devina to join the crew & she agreed, we've become friends & I've been telling her to stay away from a couple men of the crew since their perverts. Its been a couple weeks & only Devina has told me that, she likes Marco, I gave her my toothy idiotic grin

"You should confess to him!"

"Be quiet!" I nodded while zipping my mouth "I-I don't know if he likes me... if he doesn't then, it'll ruin our friendship."

"Hmm... you never know." she shrugged

"Can I ask for your help? you & Thatch?" 

"Yes! I shall help you." I was taping my chin when I got an idea, I ran to Whitebeard & told him my plan, he chuckled & nodded. We're having a party now & everyone was involved with the plan, all but Marco

"Come on, we gotta make you look fabulous!"

"O-Okay..." 

Marco POV

I wonder where Devina is, I haven't seen her since this morning. Everyone was partying while I was still worried about her, maybe I should check on her

"Oi Marco!"

"Hmm..."

"No really, look." I look at where he was pointing at that same moment, my mouth hung low. Devina was wearing a short white dress with snowflakes in her hair & on her dress, she had white knee high laced up boots with a snowflake at the end. Atami talked to Devina before she crept away, Devina walked up to me with a slight blush

"H-Hey Marco..."

"Hey Devina-yoi." in the background I saw Atami squealing, she saw me & smirked before eating a whole lot of food, that's when Thatch played a song & winked at me, I growled

"You want to dance Devina-yoi?"

"S-Sure."

"Now!" that's when I spun Devina around & everyone cheered, she tripped but I caught her which made me fall. We accidentally kissed & when she broke the kiss she ran away, crying

"Devina, wait-yoi!"

Third Person POV

Devina locked herself in Atami's room, since their sharing a room, & was crying while hugging her knees. Marco & Thatch were arguing outside until Atami shushed them both & shoved Marco into the room & closed the door behind him

"D-Devine-yoi..."

"Go away Marco..." she said as she wiped away some snot from her nose

"Why are you crying?" he asked, not saying -yoi at the end

"After kissing you... I thought you would have thought I was weird..."

"But you accidentally kissed me, didn't you?"

"Sorta, I kinda liked it." his eyes widen, she only blushed a darker red. He smirked & cupped her cheeks, she looks at him confused before he kissed her. Her eyes widen before kissing back, when they break the kiss they give a toothy grin

"So ah, do you wanna be my... girlfriend?"

"Yes!" she yelled before kissing him again

~ Outside ~

"My plan worked!"

"You were the one who tripped them, weren't you."

"Yes... yes I was."

"Very smart Atami." Thatch said before kissing her, she smiled before kissing him back
