Chapter Twenty-Four: My Apology is Cake & Cupcakes

Sabo POV [YAY!!!]

I found myself in the infirmary room, I look around & no one was in there, I could feel the bandages around my torso & forehead. Then from out of the blue, I could smell food. Its probably Koala since she always makes delicious, I stumble out of the bed & walk towards the kitchen, as I was there I saw the others just staring into the kitchen

"Wha--" I was shushed by Koala

"Your awake." she whispered

"How long was I asleep?"

"Two days..."

"Two days?!" 

"Sh sh sh." I look into the kitchen to see, ATAMI!! "She's been so nice to us ever since she got here, keeping an eye on you. She never left your side until now so she can make lunch."

"Lunch?! Its the afternoon! & she can cook?" she nodded with a smile

Third Person POV [I'll go back to his POV]

Atami was aware that they were all standing in the entrance, she shook her head & carried on making Cake & Cupcakes. She had three trays of cupcakes & one big tray with a big cake on it, she pulled a dozen cupcakes out of the oven & put them on the bench 

She pulled out whip cream, & a lot of icings she's been making, also strawberries. She iced them very neatly & stacked them in a pyramid like shape. On with the cake, it was a three layered cake that was a little big, it was a chocolate flavored velvet cake 

As she pulled that out of the oven she set it on the bench, she iced it & picked up the whip cream. She put those in some places & when that was done she put strawberries on top of that, she looked back at the whip cream

"How can I resist?" she grabbed it, shook it then put some in her mouth, then started chuckling. As Atami was going to put them on the table until Koala came by & tackled her, Sabo didn't even know when she left

"KOALA!!" Atami was able to catch them all so the cupcakes were on her hands & one was on her foot while the cake was on her head

"Sorry Atami-chan."

"Sure you are, that's what you said the other times!" Atami was struggling a couple times with the food

"Need a little help?"

"Nah I got this." she threw the cupcakes [that were on her foot] & the cake in the air she quickly set the other two trays of cupcakes down on the table while she grabbed the cupcakes that were in the air & caught them if they were going to fall off then placed it on the table. She caught the cake & & placed it on the table backwards [upside down sorta...]

"That was cool Atami-chan!" she smiled then said

"I know all of you were standing there the whole time! You should be lucky enough that I'm not gonna kick your ass!" they all gulp as they walk in. Atami grabs a couple strawberries & a cupcake & shoves them into her mouth, as she was going to run away she bumped into someone

"Oh sorry..." looking up [sorta] she see's... "Sabo!" she grabbed him & gave him a bone crushing hug, like legit 

Sabo POV

As she was hugging me I could feel my ribs being crushed, I yelped a bit but soon hugged back. Then I heard her sniff, I look down & see her crying a little

"W-We... thought you died you... ASSHOLE!!" she lets go of me & starts hitting me

"Ow! what happened to the sad you?!"

"When I found out that my once dead brother was alive! Do you know what me, Ace & Luffy went through?! Explain yourself now or else I'll drown you!" I sweat drop

"Your not for real are you?!"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" I gulp

"Lets take this somewhere else then." she nodded & followed me out [I don't exactly know the explanation myself so... yeah!] Atami was leaning on the railings waiting for my explanation, she raised an eyebrow

"So... tell me." I rubbed the back of my neck before taking a deep breath

"After I was leaving the Island... The Celestial Dragons shot me & my ship down. Somehow I survived & Dragon helped me, after he saved me I joined to be a revolutionary. After awhile I met Koala. we became a team &... yeah."

"That's all?"

"Sorta, I can't explain everything."

"I understand, but still! You could of at least come back to say, I don't know, 'Sorry guys, I'm not dead!'"

"Okay okay! but you can't tell neither Luffy or Ace."

"*Sigh* Fine. I won't." she looked away before hugging me again "Its great having you back little bro..." I hugged her back

"Its good to be back."
