Chapter Thirty-Nine || Atami, Will You?

Atami POV

I was finally able to get Thatch out of his room & I got to see his wonderful smile, the thing is that he clings to me like a lost child. Sometimes I get annoyed but sometimes, I find it adorably cute. He told me that he ate a Angel Fruit that gave him the ability to turn into a Water Kelpie. We were currently on an Island & having a chill day

"I've missed this feeling!" I was wearing a black bikini but had shorts on, I was lying on a beach chair, with my eyes closed when I suddenly feel cold wet hands on my stomach, I open my eyes & see Haruta

"What are you doing?"

"Your scar, its very warm/hot." I swat his hand away & he giggles "We've missed you ya know."

"I know, you guys tell me that everyday."

"Cause we wanna tell you how much we love you."

"Love?"

"Not how Thatch loves you though, he'll go all out!"

"Hush you." that's when he started tapping on my right arm "Why are you touching my arm now you twat?"

"Its so cool." I smile, I missed the Whitebeard Pirates too

~ Lazy Time Skip ~ 

I was asleep on the deck & I heard nothing, that was unusual for 'these' Pirates. I slowly open my eyes & push myself off the ground. I walk towards the kitchen & no one was there, dining room, no one. I look at my bedroom door & see a note

"That wasn't there before." I take the note off my door & start reading it

'Find your way to the heart of the forest, just like the way you found a way into my heart. If you do you'll see the familiar faces of the people who still love you for you. At the Waterfall will be me, with a special surprise.'

"What a, amazing poem Thatch." I chuckle & jump off the ship. On my way to the heart of the Island, from time to time I would see pink hibiscus flower in trees that would have a message on it, like

'The first time I met you.' or 'Our first kiss.' stuff like that. I chuckled at a couple of them but I stopped as I saw the Whitebeard crew stood in two rows, giving me a big smile, also wearing tux's

"Okay, whats going on?" I walk at the end & I see Thatch with the Waterfall behind him "Thatch, whats going on?"

"Um, like I said on the note, its a surprise." he turns around but then goes on one knee "Portgas D. Atami, you've made me the happiest man alive, & now that 'your' alive I'm even more joyful. What I'm trying to say is... will you marry me?" he opens a little black box & inside, is a ring

"Omigod," my voice was a little cracked since I started crying "Yes... yes I will!" I take the ring & place it on my finger. I kiss him & he gladly kisses back, everyone cheers. As I break the kiss I smile while crying "You bastard, you made me cry."
