Chapter Sixty-Two || Hunting Down Teach

Third Person POV

"We're doing what?!" when everyone left Atami had said she wanted to hunt down Teach, & kill him

"We're going after Teach." she said with a serious face (for once)

"Why?!" she turned around & put on a little scowl

"Because he's hurt my family one to many times! First it was me, then it was Ace then it was Pops... but he killed him." everyone looked down a bit sad but Atami shook her head "I understand if you don't want to but, as my first act of captain, I want to take that traitor down." everyone looked at each other before looking at her again

"We're in." she smiled

"Thank you, now first we need to track him down & find out where he is."

"We're already on it-yoi." Marco went off with Devina & the navigators while Atami dismissed everyone but the Commanders

"So what's the plan Captain Atami, of the Whitebeard Pirate?" she smirked

Atami POV

I sat in my new office & was doing paperwork with a straight face, now that I'm the new captain I have to do a lot of work. As I was doing one I heard a gentle knock on the door

"Come in." as I said that Marco, Devina & Thatch walked in

"We found a little information on Teach Atami."

"& we also found out his home base." I nodded as I took the information out of their hands, I skimmed across their nice handwriting & nod a couple times

"Jakin Island, interesting. When we arrive at the Island we should dock near the Island but not right next to it, as we do dock we should properly take a handful to the Island. Devina, I want to scope the Island, & since Teach doesn't know you yet it, he'll never expect it."

"Alright, so who do we bring to the Island?"

"Hmm, Thatch, Marco & Opal's Division but ask them if they are able to fight in battle."

"Alright captain." I grin a little

"That has a nice ring to it." they shook their heads before leaving, I sigh & ran a hand through my hair

'Even if we actually do catch Teach, I would want Ace to be there... to get his revenge too.'

I sigh again & looked at the Transponder Snail

"Maybe I should tell Ace..." as I reach over to the Snail I was suddenly stopped when I heard the door open & Thatch entered the room

"Here's everything Atami, half of our Divisions are able to go."

"Excellent." as I set them down his face was way to close to my face, I blush a bit but still had a serious face "What?"

"Your going aren't you?"

"Of course. I've already told you the plan, we catch him, I kill him."

"What about Ace?"

"What about him?"

"Don't you think we should tell him about this?"

"I was thinking about it."

"You were?" I nod

"Yes, until you came in."

"Eh heh, sorry." I shook my head & smiled a little

"No no, its alright. You had a good reason to come in." he rubbed the back of his neck, I went closer to his face & smirked a little "Now how about a kiss? My lips are rather lonely." he smirked as well

"With pleasure mi'lady." he dipped my head & kissed me passionately, I smile & melted into the kiss. I pouted a little when he broke the kiss but soon stole a kiss from me, I separated & licked my lips

"I needed that."

"I can tell."
