Chapter Forty-Four || Ace vs Atami! Round 2

Third Person POV 

"I've been wanting to fight you again Ace."

"Ace?! My name isn't Ace! Its Ash... Wait what do you mean again?"

"You really are an idiot." Atami was able to see Ace starting to light up, she then started to laugh "Haven't lost your temper I see!"

"Whats this? Is Via mocking Ash or something?!"

"Shut up you spotted wad!"

"Spotted wad? is that all you got? Flame-butt."

"Eh?!" he started charging at her & this time he was pissed, every time he tried to hit her she was able to dodge him & would laugh "Whats so funny?!"

"Seeing you try, but your not trying hard enough!" Ace clenched his fist & before it could go on fire something hit his head, he looked up & saw that Luffy threw a rock at his head

"DON'T DO IT IDIOT!!" when he turned back at her she was already in front of him, she kicked him in the gut & sent him flying. He was sliding but was able to stop himself before falling off the edge, he started coughing but then glared at her

"What did I say? never take your eyes off your opponent!"

"Is this a lesson or something?"

"Yes." he rolled his eyes, she pulled out her sword & turned it into its whip form

"Fuck!" as she moved her arm towards Ace, the whip followed. Ace was jumping & dodging everywhere & when he thought he lost it, he was dead wrong when it wrapped itself around him & started smashing him on the ground

"Looks like Via is going to win the Block E if Ash doesn't do anything now!" soon enough he was thrown in the air & Atami quickly jumped to

"Its the end of the line for you." before she could kick him down & win, Ace was behind her & punched her in the face & sent her flying to the ground

"What a comeback! Ash was able to send 'Via' flying! Who's going to win?! Ash or Via?!" she pushed herself off the ground & wiped the blood away that was trickling down her mouth

"He was finally able to hit me... I'm so proud."

"I did it! I finally hit her!"

"Once."

Ace POV

I looked at her as she pushed herself off the ground & steadily stood herself up, she put her sword back made both her arms into Busoshoku Haki. I concentrated hard & felt the Busoshoku Haki appear on my arms, I did it again

"Lets do this shall we? hand to hand combat."

"With pleasure." I crack my knuckles before the both of us started charging at each other, I was able to get a couple hits on her & she would spit the blood out of her mouth while she hit me in the face & gut a lot of times

She jumps in the air Busoshoku Haki appears on her leg, when she brings it down I block her attack & push her away. I could tell that she was getting angry now. She cracks her left knuckles & charges at me again & was able to punch me in the face really hard

"Thinking again are we?"

"Yes, thinking of a way to kick your ass!"

"Impossible, I am unbeatable!" she starts laughing while my eyes widen

'Unbeatable!... That's exactly what Atami says!' I look at Luffy & he has the same face. This has to be Atami but, I was never able to hit her before

"Enough! I have to win this for Atami!" I start running towards her & as I go for a punch she blocks it yet again but with her leg this time. She kicks me in the neck & I was sent flying yet again, she was laughing again but I glared at her

"Your never going to win, Ace."

"Shut up!" I grab a nearby sword & before I could bring it down my fire surrounds it & turns it into a cool fire sword 

"You can do that?"

"I never knew."

"Sword to sword combat then." she pulls out her sword again & I start to panic

"I don't know how to fight with a sword!" but then I just remember the times Atami fought with her sword, I look at Via & see her bringing her sword down. I bring mine up & it deflicks her attack, Via stood there shocked

"What?" she puts more pressure into it but I push her away "No way! how can that sustain my sword?"

"Cause its new?" she glared at me

~ Lazy Time Skip ~ Atami POV

Since no one knew who was gonna win they made me & Ace win the Block E, when I walk in & sat down on the ground since I was really tired

"Hey!" I look up & see Ace, & he had a smile on his face "It was cool fighting you."

"Yeah, at least you finally hit me a couple times."

"Mm." I started laughing when he started glaring at me "Stop laughing!"

"Nope."
