Chapter Six
Cy faced the broken mirror in his tiny room cellar. Facing back at him was a young adult with scruffy hair on his face and curly brown locks on his head. His face was twisted into a angry sneer. He had just resently (ten minutes ago) punched the mirror in one of his rages. Some nights he doubted himself and questioned if he could control his random out bursts. No, the only one who could help him was Sammy and he knew it. She was the only one who after one look from those gorgoues bright blue eyes would still see the sweet kind heart boy he was inside. He just knew it from the bottom of his soul. Tonight will be his escape. Tonight this will all end and he will beable to get to Sam. Cy walked over to the door. Raised his leg and with one powerful blow, blew down the metal door of its hinges. A loud alarm bell rang off threw the white blare halls. Cy turned and looked up and down the halls. Not a living soul in sight. Strange. Only too easy. He walked cautiously checking ever cornor and turn. Still not one person walked by or ran up to him. Even more strange. He desided not to dwell on the fact that everyone just left him there and ran down the halls to a exit door. When he reached a sign pointing exit in big red letters he raced to the doors. He screeched to a halt when he saw the double doors hanging off the sides. A cool breeze washed over him from the outside world and a smell of rain and spring kissed his cheek. He had a sudden wave of relief that was quickly intrupded when a black figure tackled him. He hit the ground with a loud THUNK.
"Oof. What the-?"
The large man held him down and with one hand pulled off his hood. The boy had a baby face and innocent brown eyes. He looked at Cy with curiousity.
"Who are you?"
"Cyron. Who are you?"
I asked the questions wolf. Who sent you here? Actually scratch that. Why are you not in your cellar?"
"I escaped. No one held me back so I was just heading out the.." Cy gasped for a breath because the boy had his arm rested defensivly on his chest. "Door."
"Well there's no one here because I killed them all." The boy laughed cruely.
"You?"
"Well I had some help."
"Are you like me?"
"You could say that. Exempt I'm not a dirty wolf."
"Oh." Cy said. That bruised his ego a bit.
"Interesting that I find one. Not many around now, really rare. But here you are caged up like a animal you are."
"I'm not caged anymore." Cy reminded him.
"Right. Well I suppose you could be some use to us." The boy said. He got up and brushed himself off. Cy stood up right after him. The boy wasn't much shorter the him but since he was a wolf he grew abnormally fast.
"Where are you guys going." He asked thinking about Sam.
"Ireland. Rumors say they help Monsters like you and I."
"And I!" A perky short girl popped out of no where. She was quite cute with a small pointy nose and big grass green eyes. Her red hair hung down to her waist and pointy ears stuck from the sides of her head.
"I'm Sky. Are you going to be coming with us?" She asked happily.
"Uh.."
"Well Cyron will you be joining us?"
"I really can't" Cy said Sammy popping back into his head.
"They could help you control your anger and Hunger." The boy said.
