Samantha Perry flew down the stairs to race out the door as fast as she could. When she stepped out into the clean crisp morning air she took a long deep breath. She was Samantha the most loved girl at school, she can get threw anything. Her hair was a minor step back and it is nothing. Nothing that she can't get threw. She walked down the empty street. '
Most popular girl in school with no car ha funny.' Sam thought. It's not her fault though. It was Ryans fault. Sam and him were an item. Very well known for fighting all the time and being in a bad relationship since Ryan cheated on her everytime he got. It's no big deal now since she ended two weeks ago. What was a big deal though, was that when she had lent Ryan her car,he and his buddies took it for a spin after a wicked bon fire party. Luckly they weren't all drunk but that didn't stop Ryan from smashing her poor porche into a tree. So okay maybe it was her foult since she had lent it to him in the first place. But in her defense she had no idea he would friggin crash it! Now she was than carless and boyfriendless. Two things that don't mix well with the popular side of highschool. Thankfully she has two fantastic bestfriends who kept her aflout on the food chain. She knew she owed a lot to both of them.
"Sammy! Sam! Sam! Oh my god." Coraline gasped for air.
"Did you just ru-,"
Coraline cut Sam off and screamed, "Sam jeez I haven't spoke to you since school yesterday. What is wrong with you! You were suppose to call me right after the party to tell me how it went since I wasnt able to go. I can't believe you! Did even meet a guy? Who was all there? Sam! These are things I MUST know! And you didn't even try to get a hold of me so don't try that on me. Were suppose to be friends! Are you going to give me an explaination or not!"
" I would if you give me a friggen second to say something!" Sam snapped. Coraline sighed. "Okay I'm sorry. I was just worried."
"Whatever. No I didn't call you because my phones out of minutes. Everyone whos anyone was there and yes I did meet a guy but it didnt get past the who are you stage. Okay? So breath." Sam explained. Coraline made a face than burst out laughing. Sam frowned, "What?"
Coraline held her breath to stop her laughing. "Nothing, I just thought you were going to atleast give me some juicy details and what not." She said when she caught her breath. She peered at me closely, "Actually are you okay? Because you seem different today." Sam bit her lip nervously when Coralines chestnut eyes widened, "Your hair! What the-" Sam held up my hand to cut her off. "Don't say it. Its gross weird and awful." She tugged her hair. The cornor of Coralines glossed lips rose a bit.
"Honestly it doesn't look that bad. Really brings out your eyes." She shrugged.
"Really?" Sam asked doubtfully.
"Really. But what is this about? Are you supporting some goth group?" Exactly what Sam knew she was going to ask.
"No it's not. I woke up and-" Sam stopped herself. If she said she woke up like this Coraline will think she's nuts. "And decided I needed a change."
"Well good for you girl." Coraline said.
When Sam and Coraline arrived at the school everyone stopped just to stare at Sams hair. Everyone including the teachers. Sam had never felt more humiliated in her life. She couldn't show that to anyone so she put on a confident smile that said a lot more positive things than what she was feeling.
In the back feild Sam scanned the area to search for Justines bright red hair. She could stand out anywhere with that color. Which is exactly why Justine got it colored that way. Sam almost gave up looking until she saw a tall broud boy. His hair was tossed messy to the side and he wore a black plan T-shirt with blue jeans. If he wasnt there at her school Sam would have guessed he was atleast in college. She stared for a bit wondering where she reconized him from. He turned towards her direction. She broke her gaze when his deep brown eyes met hers. A hot guy like that can't go unknowing who she is, Sam thought. She has to make him known to her.
