Ch. 10 Boom Boom POW (Tiana)

I was beside Megan

"So you just found out about your heritage?" She asked me and I nodded happily.

"I don't know why but at first it shocked but now I'm good like I didn't just get told I wasn't human." I laughed while telling her

"I didn't even know y'all were part of the Elk family. Thats so cool." I said.

"Well with all the rumors going around about you we only thought you we're a Phoenix but hey, a Dragon is cool too." Richard said and I nodded.

"Yeah I guess. Oh guess what! Tonight Liana and I's best friend from Miami is flying in tonight to stay here in Nightshade!" I said happily and everyone else at the table got quiet.

"Really?" Nathan said and Liana nodded.

"Our Grandma said it would be best for someone else to share our inheritance with and she is going to use a very strong illumimator to bring out his Divine powers." Liana said.

"Well I can't wait to meet him
If he is half as cool as y'all we'll love him. Does he play sports?" Nathan asked and the guys we're all ears.

"Nope he's more of a lazy shopper like me." I said happily.

Realization hit everyone at the table making it go quiet.

"So he's gay?" Adrian asked. And I nodded

"He prefers the term free though." Liana said happily.

I missed Sean so much it made my heart hurt.

"He's a great person and like a brother to me. I trust him with everything." I said

Nathan seemed to have gone quiet looking down.

"Does anyone happen to know what this meeting is about??" Liana asked and Delilah's brother nodded.

"First it's about the windshield of Tianas car and then it's about how Adrian broke off his betrothal with Delilah. Oh sorry my names Seth."  He said smiling at us. His phone must've vibrated cause he looked down.
He seemed pretty OK with everything he just said.

Nathan got up and went to the bathroom.

"I don't understand why we even have to be here. We're not having a meeting." Adrian said.

"The got us all dressed up just to let us sit here." Megan said softly.

I was surprised she spoke.

"Exactly.  Pointless." Seth said.

I turned to see Delilah on her phone sitting alone pouting. I felt bad for her but then no I thought of my windshield and turned back around.

I sat at Nightshades border waiting for my message. A nice distraction was in order. Just a little something to throw the adults off my real plan.

The ding of the message came.

Everyone is just sitting here talking. You're good to go.

I smiled think I km go how dumb children were they believed everything you told them. It was pathetic but it was also an advantage. An advantage I would take full use of.

I smiled as we all switched up. Girls on one side and guys on the other side of the table.

We played 21 questions to get to know one another.

"OK Tiana. Do you think it is better to give love or receive?" Nathan asked me.
