Baby Blackstock had been quite the show off for their parents since they acquired their desire for attention, which included doing back flips in the middle of the night to make sure that she wasn't the only one awake. Which unfortunately led to the rule 'if Reba doesn't sleep, then neither does Narvel'!

Reba had been coping well with the changes that her body was going through, but unfortunately again for Narvel this meant that bodily changes came with mood swings. Of course Reba was too sweet to lash out badly, but it was enough to scare Narvel and then the outburst would be followed by tears. Narvel had confided in his mother and Jackie to find out if this was normal and if there was anything he could do to make this easier for Reba and the baby. Her small frame already struggled to carry around her four and a half month belly.

"Hey, I was thinking that we could think of some names or themes for the nursery?" Reba scooted into bed, pregnancy really limited her abilities to do normal activities! "we need to find out the gender if we're gonna do that." He replied, Narvel had been dying to find out the sex, but Rena didn't want to so he stuck by her side because he knew that he'd let the gender accidentally slip if he knew. "Narvel we've been over this, if you want to know then go ahead and find out," she was getting frustrated with the whole gender thing. "Okay, okay I'm sorry." He held up his hands in surrender.

"Would you like a massage, my lady?" Narvel asked, sitting up on his knees. She sighed, completely frustrated. "Uh....I don't know! I don't know anything anymore! And you! You're just so sweet to me all the time! And I know I do NOT deserve it! And..I'm just so tired of being pregnant! It's hard! And I'm barely half way!" "Calm down, you don't have much longer, you deserve everything you from me, you've earned every massage because you're carrying around OUR baby and I think that pretty damn amazing. I'm trying to make this as painless as possible for you." He spoke gently, rubbing her shoulders. She placed her head in her hands and sighed. "See, that's just it," she said in a much calmer tone. "You're just so..you. And it's great. I just don't think you know how much I appreciate you and everything you do cause half the time we talk I'm yelling at you. I'm gonna try not to do that so often..okay? I'm gonna try.." He nodded his head-really relieved but tried not to show just how much relieved. He leaned over her shoulder and kissed her cheek. "You're fine. Just keep on carrying that baby okay." She giggled a little. "I'm not too sure I got a choice in that but yes I will continue to carry this bowling ball around for the next 4 and a half months." He laughed. "That's all you'll have to do, you won't have to lift a finger when I'm around. I want you relaxed and stress free!" He kissed her forehead then cheek, "All three of us are gonna be just fine!" "If you say so then I'll believe it." He chuckled, "And just where did that solid trust come from?" Then she turned to look at him seriously.
"Cause you said you loved me and you're still here-I'm pregnant and you're still here. You must really love me." He smiled. "I do. I wouldn't have left you alone with this baby, they're my responsibility and so are you. I'm gonna take care of us...Reba, I've decided to get the best job that I can find to provide for my family so we can be independent." Narvel finally addressed the elephant in the room; Reba had noticed that he had been in deep thought about something for the past several days due to the fact that she would catch him in deep thought every time she walked in the room. She wasn't quite sure what to say. She was happy yet a bit taken aback at his maturity mainly because, well, they were both still teenagers. But she was completely over the moon although at the same time she thought for a second before she spoke. "I couldn't be happier that you feel that way and I absolutely adore how much you wanna take care of me and our little joy.. But at the same time.. I want you to do what you wanna do. Now that doesn't mean I'd support you goin out to work in a biker gang or being Buzzlightyear at Disney Land," he laughed as she went on, "but I know you well enough to know that you don't like to stay one place too long, and I don't want you takin no boring desk job for 20 years that you'd hate, just to take care of us. Do what you like-be smart-but do what you like." He smiled, "Babe, I don't care if I hate my job for the rest of my life, I want to provide for you and I will take whatever I can get to make that happen. I'll scrub toilets for a living if it means that we are stable and happy. I. Love. You. I want our family to be happy and our baby to have the best things money can buy, doesn't that sound nice?" Narvel smiled and rubbed his palm against her cheek, a comforting thing that she loved. She grinned. "Nope. Not nice at all. Perfect." He smiled and they shared a warm loving kiss. He mentally laughed at how she was practically ready to kill him earlier and now they were in total bliss. These mood swings were something else but he wouldn't trade em for the world.
