we stayed there for about 10 minutes in complete silence, it was shortly disrupted by the distant sound of chatting, i turner around to see blue atop red and jadie atop pheonix coming down the road, i sighed in defeat and resumed my previous position, i watched zephyr as he watched blue's movements closely, not blinking as if he might miss something

 

"do you fancy blue or something .." i questioned causing him to snapped his line of sight back to me.

 

"no! of course not! what would make you think such a thing?"

 

"welll where do i start" i joked slightly even getting a genuine smile from him even if it was a small one " just the way you was just looking at her"

 

" ahhhhh.... well she was giving me a funny stare so i decided to return the gesture"

 

"hmmmm, anyway weve strayed away from the original subject"

 

"that doesnt matter right now, what matters is you going to catch up with blue"

 

"but she got in a mood" i moaned back

 

" yes, she might have been but your going to need everyone you can trust to help you eventually" he got up and started to brush himself down

 

"but" i argued "wait what the hell is that supposed to mean, ill need everyone to help me eventually"

 

"just do as your told for once kyra"

i looked at him gone out, he knew nothing about me what so ever or what im like so why would he make a comment like that. i was left to ponder my thoughts on my own as he left for the stables. 

i groaned in annoyance whilst mounting keano, i knew what he said was right, i hated falling out with blue even in the slightest. we had known each other for roughly 3 years now, ever since i had stabled keano at her livery, we got on quite well as we shared a few minor things in common, which included the proctectiveness but seriously, piss her off and shes a ticking time bomb, funsized but deadly  but i guess thats why everyone loves her so much, including mwah.

 

i could feel keano's heartbeat steadily rising as i urged him to go faster with zephyrs comments replaying over and over in the back of my mind, but i didnt fully understand everything in which he wass talking about back in the field. stuck in the midst of all my thought i realised i was catching up to blue and jadie, blue was circling jadie and i hung keano back and waited, watching as jadie barked orders at blue as she continued circling, i caught eye contact with blue for a split second until she started circling, i pushed keano to walk over to blue asif not to try to push blue. only when i finally reached them did blue decide to take off into the forest leaving her mum to call out after her.

i sped keano up and shouted to jadie " where she going?"

"blue will be blue but i know for a fact she wasn't happy with you"

i sighed in defeat "what else was i meant to do, i thought even you knew that she don't like him, so i thought it would be best not to tell her"

"to be honest kyra, despite you knowing all this did you stop to think how it might make her feel you lying to her to speak to him?"

"i know but...."

"right now i think the best thing to do is to let her chill out and calm down"

i cut her off " you know for a fact that im not going to do that..." i smiled at her, i could see she was about to respond but decided to take off after blue

" i give up!" i heard jadie shout in frustration, i could mentally picture her throwing her arms up in the sky as she spoke, i smiled to myself as i rode.

 

i pulled back on keanos reins at the enterance of the forest to have him fight back, throwing his head in the air in disagreement as he skidded to a stop. i looked frantically around to forest to try and locate her, i could vaguely see her red top through all the trees, i pushed keano to give chase everytime i saw her, he started to get to know what to do automatically. To think about it she wasnt going very fast even on her mustang, almost asif she wanted me to catch up to her. 

everytime i got her in my sights would i call out to her "blue! please! stop!"

only when she jumped the ditch to get to the clearing did she stop. fuck!!! i yanked back harder on keanos causing him to skid to a stop just in time, i looked down to see mud scattering into the water below, i sighed a sigh of relief. "too close keano, but good boy!" i patted his neck in praise

i turned him round sharply and took him back down the track, turning him back to face the ditch i sat fidgeting in the saddle. i dug my heels in sending him into full throttle at the ditch, counting the stides as i went, one... two... three... i leant forward on his neck as he expertly jumped over, i quickly sat back as he went to land. i immediately stopped keano and looked back at what i had just jumped, continusly patting his neck in praise and appreciation as i did so.

i immediatly turned my attention back to blue 

"blue what the hell!!!" she slid off reds back and walked towards the river on the opposite side quicker then i could free even one of my feet from the stirrups "blue will you just..."

"No Kyra! i wont stop on your command!"

"come on blue! at least hear me out!" i pleaded at her back

" well let me guess..." she yelled in annoyance "you wanna tell me now that you snuck off with that jerk, without atleast telling me. and even LYING to me on the phone"

"i didnt tell you because i knew you wouldnt like it"

"so you would rather risk our friendship lying to me on the phone then telling me the truth!"

"you know i didnt mean it like that!"

"then what did you mean then!"

i looked away from her accusing glare "i didnt mean to hurt you by lying, at the time i thought it would be a good idea" i had dropped my voice in realisation of what i had actually done

"well sometimes you can be wrong kyra" her tone was calming down

"i know, and im sorry.  can we just forget about it for now?"

"i suppose so... but..."

"but what..." i saw her mischevious look enter her face

"you need to chill out!" she moved closer as her grin widened, then it hit me, well her hands hit my shoulders causing me to loose my footing and fall into the river.

"BLUE!" I yelled but all that greeted my ears was her mad laugh as i presume she was frantically running away
