#please bear with me for the next let of chapters, not quiet sure where this has headed but it does tie in.
Oops, well that was unexpected... I stood on the edge of the dense forest barely visible to anyone looking in, my ears swiveling on a six pence at the noises that surrounded me. I could faintly hear her horse in the distance still cantering off, soon enough he would meet up with the others that were out on the trial.
I cautiously crept forward to the motionless kyra watching as her chest rose steadily 'least i havent killed her' I was a foot away from her when something moved. I tensed keeping my whole body still. A hawk exploded from a nearby tree, my limbs relaxed one by one as i realised there was no danger nearby. I moved closer to kyra and inhaled deeply, the scents greeting me were pleasent ones as none smelt of injury.
Hours passed without a stirring from her as i layed next to her keeping her warm and safe. Thinking about it there were no sounds around at all. It was eerily quiet, the hackles on my back were raising as they realised there was nothing. I didn't want to leave her but i knew i had to find help, only problem was i would scare more people then i could talk to. THE YARD DOG! Yes i may be able to help her after all.
