chapter 9

kyra pov

i shivered slightly as i rose river i could still hear blue laughing her head off as she fled. i stumbled and slipped up the bankment dripping head to toe and shook myself dry like a dog would. bitch! i watched keano whilst he walked over to me and nudged me asif calling me an idiot.

i finally caught up with her "thanks blue!

"no worries chick!" she spoke with the biggest smile on her face.

when we finally got back to the yard we noticed jadie coming out of the mobile building shortly followed by zephyr.

"whats mom been doing with him?"

i shrugged "i dunno, i was a bit preoccupied..."

 we watched as she stormed towards us she paused to fuss red and keano," blue... you know how you said that guy was a jerk..."

"yeah..."blue answered questioningly

"well you were right" with that sudden statement she stormed off again. i followed her with my line of sight as she went towards her car, i turned my attention back to blue

"what was all that about" i said with a light laugh in my voice

"i dunno but i bet he does" she nodded in zephyrs direction, who also seemed to be watching jadie as she left.

"blue dont be silly!" i called out after her

"when am i ever silly!" she shouted back with a slightly annoyed look on her face

"here we gooo... blue wait!..." i attempted to dismount quicker then i actually could and landed hard on my back winding me slightly "fuck sake" i shouted in anger, i heard a sudden burst of laughter followed by the thundering of footsteps. when i looked up again i was greeted by zephyrs outstretched hand offering to pull me up, i gratefully took it and steadied myself on keanos side whilst i regained my breath. i looked up to see two smirking faces looking at me

"must be my bad day... fall in a river... fall off my saddle... seems like i like to fall alot"

"you ok?" blue asked genuinly. i nodded in response. "right now!... mr stone" she spoke sarcastically "care to tell me how the hell you have pissed my mother off, only I can do that!"

no response

"you listening to me!" 

no response

he continued to walk away from her, so being the typical blue, she decided to walk directly infront of him to make him stop. and stop he did. suddenly

"yes miss knight, i am listening but right now is not the time for answers" he spoke collectivly

"ha. i think right now is the perfect time for answers!"

i walked up beside blue "blue leave it for now, well deal with it later" she looked at me and sighed

"fine!" she stormed away with red following, but i swear if horses could give dirty looks then he just gave zephyr the fattest one.

i walked closer to zephyr and gave him a friendly reminder "look mate. i find things out by other means nessecary" he nodded "and if your trying to get in blues good books, thats not the way to do it"

i followed blue but looked back i watched as his expressions went from ones of questioning to ones of confusion, he looked me directly in the eyes from where he was asif searching for answers. i smiled with satisfaction and turned after blue.
