Chapter 16

Blue pov

Great! My cabin mate is a fucking nutter! I've been tossing and turning ever since her little outburst, ok I sleep at least 20 out of 24hours a day but that doesn't mean I'm a heavy sleeper. Argh! Wellnim not gonna get much sleep now! I jumped out of bed and stretched my body out, I could see the sun peeking through the curtains, I'm never up at the crack of dawn. Never!

I stormed over to the mess hall only to find it not as empty as I thought, zephyr was sat in the corner of the hall opposite some girl, I nodded to him in acknowledgment and continued over to the vending machine to see what they had. Ooo Dr pepper. Nice.

I heard zephyr clear hid throat "I think ill leave you two to it then" I stared at him in a questioning matter but all I got back was a smile.

the girl that was sat opposite him, jumped up "zephyr?" She called after him, he ignored her call as he brushed past me, I threw him an annoyed look knowing all too well that it wouldn't be seen. I turned my attention back to what he was on about.

it was the last person that I ever thought would be staring back at me with the same expression of surprise.

"what the..." We both said in unison

"blue, what are you doing here?" She asked whilst sitting where zephyr once was, I grabbed my drink and went to join her.

"visiting my uncle... Who I have never heard of may I add"

"well its a nice unexpected surprise ha-ha-ha"

"doesn't explain why your here as well does it?"

"an old friend of mine, Carmen offered for me to come over for some R and R"

"And she delightfully accepted!" A young girl not much older than myself came flying over one of the armchairs to my right and now faced me and blue. I watched as the blonde haired, brown eyed girl sat grinning from ear to ear whilst her eyes darted between us.

"Carmen i presume"

"indeed I am the infamous Carmen" she squealed " but on another note you've both got about five minutes before everyone comes in for breakfast you may need to change into something more... Decent"

kyras face lit up with realisation " yep might be a good idea" with that she ran out the side door brushing past an unsuspecting zephyr. I groaned and spun back round to finish my drink.

"ooo has he pissed you off ?"

"huh" I aimed at the girl known as Carmen, she nodded towards the jerk

"zephyr, has he pissed you off, cos if he has that would be unusual?

"why unusual?" Now she had my attention

"well all the lasses round here are always after him but he pays them no attention"

" well I am sure I wont be one of them girls. That's for sure!"

I watched her grin spread across her face "he's behind me isn't he?" She nodded excitedly. I tilted my head up to see him hovering over me.

" getting changed" I started short and sharp.

"ahhh, well I better go get her exlim is waiting for her"

I slumped back in my chair when he walked off, "oh by the way blue its time you met sidekick"

"yeah about that" zephyr spoke sheepishly
