I had finally arrived home after the interview with Bryson and honestly I was so exhausted. I believe I was exhausted from all the stressing I was doing, mainly about keeping my job that I haven't even started; and stressing on how to prove to Bryson that he made a great choice at hiring me.
I was heating up some popcorn when I got a call from my mom. "Yes mom! What can I help you with" I knew she was only calling to talk about her new boyfriend and I did not want to hear it.
"Hey baby! How did your interview go?" She asked. "How did you know I had an interview?" I asked knowing I didn't tell her. "A little birdie told me Eva that's all" Oh my gosh when I see Aria I swear I'm going to kill that girl. "It went well, I gotta go mom I'm busy right now" I stated.
My show was coming on and honestly our conversation was about to go nowhere. "We'll damn Eva did you get the job" ugh I swear if I miss a second of Love And Hip Hop New York I'm going to be pissed. " Yes mom I got the job I got to go bye " I said hanging up the phone, and just in time it came on. This was the moment Peter, Tara, and Amina were about to have their "little" talk.
Just as Amina slapped Peter I get a call from an unknown number. "HELLO" I yelled through the phone. " Eva the meeting is at 7:45 not 8 so don't be late". Today was just not my day. "Oh my gosh Bryson! I'm sorr-" I spoke but got cut off.
"I need to talk to you about something Eva" he asked, my heart started racing; God please don't let this be the moment he fires me I haven't even started.
"Yeah sure! what is it?"
" I need to know if your really in it! Like on the for real side you can't be playing games Eva". I didn't know if he was asking me to be his girl or what, but what exactly did he mean by I can't be playing games.
"Bryson I'm not understanding what your talking about. What do you mean by playing games?" I asked unsurely. The line went silent for a while making me instantly regret what I asked.
"I mean are you going to be prepared for what's going to be happening in the next few weeks. Eva from tomorrow on your life is not going to be the same. My daughter is going to be with me a lot I need to know are you in it to take on a huge responsibility like this one".
"Yes Bryson I'm In this for the long run I promise, I won't let you down" what he had asked me was probably the biggest thing anyone can ever ask me and I was prepared to take on the task.
"Alright, we'll get some rest we got a big day ahead of us and I need you to be on your shit. I have meetings and photo shoots with some really important people". I knew working for Bryson is probably going to be the most overwhelming thing ever, especially with his mouth! damn why did he have to be such a butt. We'll be having a smooth conversation then it's like nope it just went left.
As we got off the phone I turned off The tv, I guess I'll be watching love and hop hop another day. As I walked to my room I noticed a note on my dresser which read
To: Eva
From: Corey
I know I messed up. Just give me another chance to make it up to you.
I knew he had been talking to aria, seriously why did she have to be so oblivious and always trust people.
All I could do was laugh, I wasn't going backwards it was time to move forward and that's what I shall do.
