Chapter 7
I sighed to myself as I walked down the bus steps, I couldn’t back out now, I’d already told Keisha I was going to do it. I looked up as I my boots hit the bottom steps, scanning the bus for my handsome stranger. He’s not YOUR handsome stranger Toni. I scolded my self; He’s just some random guy you saw at the bus stop. Some random guy who was totally staring at you right now! OH MY GOSH! He was staring at me, I was trying really hard not to be a knob and turn around. And surprisingly succeeding. I sauntered over to his waving hand and braced myself.
“Is this seat taken?” I asked giving him my best smile
“Most definitely not” I smiled again trying to get into the seat without doing something stupid and awkward.
“Hey”
“Hi”
Well this was going peachy so far. Bloody hell Toni! Get a grip!
“S-sorry about earlier’ I stuttered, “Its just Keisha can be a little..ermm..forward” More than a little forward but I didn’t want to bring that up right now.
“It’s okay” He laughed, showing me quite a beautiful smile. “Just hope you’re alright you know? Don’t want anything spoiling that beautiful face of yours.” I laughed and said pointedly.
“Not that beautiful”
“Are you calling me a liar” He asked with a mock shocked expression on his face. I giggled and suddenly frowned inwards, I hated giggling; It just screamed weakness to me.
“Maybe I am”
“Well then, I am very insulted. You never call a stranger a liar.” He had a mock wistful expression on his face and I smirked at that.
“Really?”
“Yes really. I guess you’re just going to have to make it up too me”
“And how exactly would I do that” I stared at him questioningly.
“You just might have to give me your number”
“Ohhh…Okay then” I sounded so sure but inside I was freaking out as we swapped phone’s and punched in each other’s numbers. When we swapped back. I smiled at his name; Matthew. It suited him perfectly.
“Toni, beautiful name” He said snapping me out of my daydream.
“So’s Matthew, Well not beautiful, b..but n..nice. It’s a nice name” I said quickly, shaking my head profusely as I sighed inwardly at my incredibly knobby behaviour.
“Parents are the religious type” He said. I laughed at that.
“Well, we have that in common!” He chuckled and I smiled.
“Well, I guess I’ll be seeing you Toni”
“Be..be..seeing me?” He wanted it to leave! Was talking to me that bad?
“Yeah” He laughed “It’s my stop”
“Ohh, Of course! See you” hopefully
“Bye” He said smiling as I got out of my seat and let him past, and he walked off the bus.
SOOOOO…… What do we think?!? LOVE, LIKE, HATE?!?! VOTEE!! PLEASEEE!!! I’ll love you forever! And also comment! Opinions??
