We leave the restaurant after Harry paid the bill when I tried to convince him not to pay mine, he did it anyway.
- Next time I'm paying your food.- I say and he smiles.- Where are we going now?
- What about Oxford Street?
- Okay...
- You said you like shopping, right?- I nod.- Then you'll love it.
- I sure will, I'm loving everything.
- That's good. We'll go by foot, hope that's okay.
- Of course it is.- He smiles again and takes my hand. He interwines his fingers with mine and while he holds the plastic bag from Alice's on his left hand, I grab his arm with my right hand.
- We obvioulsy won't have enough time to visit the whole city, so we'll have to meet another day.
- Sounds lovely.- He kisses my cheek making me smile. I really like the streets and people seem to be very nice. I'm glad we moved here.
- Harry? Hey, man, how are you?- A boy comes and shakes Harry's hand, taking mine afterwards.
- Hey Niall, it's been so long.
- I know, right?- He looks at me. He has blonde hair and very nice, blue eyes.- Hello.- He says.
- Hello, I'm Eleanor.- He shakes my hand smiling, he looks really nice.
- Are you two dating?- He asks and my heart beats faster.
- Yes, we are, I was taking her to visit London.
- Good... you also should come to Ireland someday.- He whispers to me and I smile.- What changed you, Harry? I didn't expect you to have a girlfriend.- My heart beats even faster.
- Well, now I have one, now get lost, I want to show her Oxford Street.
- Enjoy, Eleanor. Bye Harry, love you.- He says quickly and I look at Harry.
- What?- I ask.
- What?- He repeats.
- You said I'm your girlfriend, fourty minutes ago you didn't want to.
- I didn't say I didn't want you to be my girlfriend. You said you would like me to consider you as my girlfriend and I didn't say anything.
- Exactly.
- What's the problem then?
- That you just said Niall that we're boyfriend and girlfriend.
- But...I'm your boyfriend, right?
- I guess...I thought you would talk about it.
- I think I don't need to ask you if you want to be my girlfriend.- He's right, but I would like him to.- Just as I didn't need to ask you if you liked me the first time I did.- I look at him to see that stupid smirk on his face again.
- You're an idiot.- I say and then I push his hand away from mine. At first he groans, but then he smiles.
- I'm your boyfriend.- He corrects and I blush.
- No, you're not.
- But you want me to?
- Of course. I just didn't expect you to say it until we had talked about it.
- We're talking about it now.- He smirks again, I try to push him away but he grabs my arm and pulls me into a kiss. He can't be serious.- Eleanor Grey, do you want to be my girlfriend?- He whispers in my ear, his raspy and slow tone makes me moan unconciously and he looks at me raising his eyebrows at the same time he smiles. I put my hand in my mouth quickly, but he gently removes it.- Don't be shy, it was pretty nice.- He whispers in my ear once again and my heart stops.- Well...- I kiss him and hope he takes it as an answer to his question.- Is that a 'yes'?- He asks, of course he would.
- Yes.
- Yes what?- He teases again.
- I want to be your girlfriend, Harry.- I repeat timidly. He smiles and gives me a quick kiss. We keep walking and finally arrive. My eyes can't decide where to look, there are plenty of shops.- Can we go to all of them?- I say, my eyes wide open.
- Well, maybe not every single shop, choose the shops you like and we'll go inside.
- Okay...
- You have...Forever 21, Zara, H&M, Pull&Bear, Disney Store...
- Can we go to the Disney Store?!?!?
- Sure.- He laughs and takes me on a piggy back ride to the shop, I find some of my favorite shops on our way to the Disney Store and I force Harry to let me go inside. When we finally arrive I bring five different bags from five different shops on my hand.- Let me buy you something?
- You already paid my lunch, you don't have to.
- But I want to, choose some of this shit and I'll buy it for you.
- This is not shit, this is childhood, Harry.
- Since when being eighteen is part of a person's childhood?
- Since Disney exists.- I smile.- I won't be eighteen anymore in a few days...- I say. My birthday's on December 27th.
- I know, your birthday's on December 26th.
- Twenty-seventh.- I correct him.
- Whatever. Choose something before I take you on my back again, I don't know why girls love shopping that much.
- Because you can get new clothes. As simple as that.- I finally decide taking a Nemo plush.- You're not paying this.- I say when I see him taking his wallet from his pocket.
- Why not?
- Because I feel bad when people pay things for me, I don't know...
- Why? People try to be polite when they do that.
- But I feel bad...
- I won't buy you any presents then.- I look at him as we keep waiting.
- Well, I...can make an exception...I mean...- He laughs and kisses me.- Our turn, Harry.- He follows me.
- Good afternoon.- A woman says.- Twelve pounds, please.- She says and as she takes a bag and keeps it in it I take my wallet. Right in the moment when I'm giving her the money I feel Harry's hand going down my back. I know what he's trying to do. I push his hand away and give the woman the money. I take the bag and Harry puts his arm around me.
- Don't do that! We're in public, Harry!
- Oh, so if we were home right now you would let me?- I blush and try to hide my face.
- Don't smirk.- I warn him, my cheeks are still red.
- I never do.
- Yes you do, all the time, it makes me nervous, specially when you say things like that.
- Like what?- He teases.
- Shut up, Harry!- He laughs and I join him.- You're stupid.
- I know I am, but let me explain why.
- Why?
- Because I love you.- My heart stops.
- I love you too, Harry.
