Chapter 2

Shawn's POV

Me and Camila have been backstage for hours, working on the song were trying to write together

"I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I knooow" Camila sang. We're just trying to work on the chorus and little things. We haven't really wrote any 'actual' lyrics. We bounced ideas off of each other and wrote down any ideas we thought were good. While we were working, Lauren and Ally came backstage

"Hey Camila, we gotta get ready" Lauren said

"Okay" Camila said. When they walked away she groaned. I chuckled,

"What?"

"I really wanted to work on this song" she said as she stood up

"Well we can work on it later" I said and put my guitar back in its case. I gave her a tight hug,

"Good luck, I'll be right next to the stage" I said. We pulled back and she smiled,

"Thank you" she said and walked off.

Camila's POV

"So what's going on with you and Shawn?" Dinah asked me as we sat in our chairs and got our makeup touched up

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Do you like him?" Normani asked

"No! He's my best friend guys" I said, a little defensive

"What were you guys doing backstage when I came and got you?" Lauren asked

"Oh, we're working on writing a song" I said  

"Really?" Lauren asked

"I mean, yeah" I said and chuckled awkwardly

"What made you guys wanna do that?" she asked

"Well were just messing around, and I sang randomly and he thought it sounded good and he asked me if I'd wanna write a song with him"

"Can we hear some of it?" Ally asked

"Well we don't have any legit lyrics" I said

"Do you have anything?" Dinah asked

"Well yeah"

"Well then can we hear what you have?" she asked. I felt a little weird, it was like they were all ganging up on me based on their tone of voice

"No" I said firmly

"Why not?" they all asked

"Because you guys are mad and ganging up on me and I don't want you guys to hear it just cause you're mad!"

"We're not mad! We just wanna hear it Camila" Lauren said and laughed

"Well then why are you guys sounding like you have an attitude?"

"It's just none of us have written a song with anyone except each other, so it's a little weird, but we're not mad I promise" Lauren said. I sat there and thought for a moment. I sighed and started singing what Shawn and I have came up with so far

"That sounds really good!" Normani said and I smiled. After they heard it, they all said positive things and it made me feel a lot better.

"Thanks guys!" I said happily

"You're on in 5!" our manager said. We all stood up and quickly put on our outfits. We walked over to the stage and I saw Shawn. I smiled and waved excitedly and he did the same.

"Give it up for Fifth Harmony!" the announcer said and the crowd went wild. We walked on stage and they got even louder.

"LA how you guys doin tonight?!" I asked and everyone screamed. I looked over and saw Shawn still standing there and I smiled.

"You guys ready for this?!" Dinah yelled and everyone screamed again. We all got in our positions and heard the track to Worth It start, and again, the crowd went wild.

For the last time, I looked over at Shawn and he mouthed 'good luck' and I smiled.

Sorry this chapter is a little short! I wanted to throw in the fact that Shawn and Camila were working on the song and the girls talked about it and stuff.
