Chapter 4: Our time is here

Chapter 4

Katniss P.O.V.

I've got something really important to do today. I actually do. I always have something important to do, but this thing is maybe a little more important than most things, and more fun.

I could end up in trouble for doing this, and so can my friends because they are a big part of it. But lately I've been feeling that the students here at my high school has been quite stressed out, even the jocks and the students who says that they don't give a damn about school are stressing. Hell even the teachers are stressed.

I want to do something to encourage both students and teachers. Because I know that everyone needs motivation, and not always students, teachers also needs motivation. So hopefully we will not get detention for a lifetime after this.

We're supposed to be in English class now, but we're not, and the English teacher is probably really irritated right now. We can laugh about this in detention later on.

Even if I'm a good student who the teachers love, with good grades and all of that, I do see myself as something of a rebel. And I'm sly. And I get great ideas. Ideas like this one.

We're in the corridor. And everyone are smiling. They nod at me to go right ahead and start.

I start to talk in the head microphone i stole from the teqnice room. And my voice sounds throughout the whole school.

"Hey students and teachers here in Mockingjay High! Katniss Everdeen and friends here, we've got a little something for you all!"

The boys starts to play the instruments. Yes I've got things to make them hearable through the school as well. And I got my girls hand microphones. The girls and I are going to sing and the boys play are gonna play the instruments.

I start to sing.

(Katniss)
"We're done, but it's not over, we'll start it again

After the end of the day, it keeps getting better
D

on't be afraid, we'll do it together".

I open a door and we all burst in.

(All)
"Come on, come on, you know
(Katniss)
It's your time to move it's my time to move
(All)

(Katniss)
Leave it all behind, your past and mine".

We run out of the classroom.

(All)
"Gone are the days of summer
We couldn't change it if we tried
Why would we want to, let's go where we got to
Our paths will cross again in time
It's never the same tomorrow,
And tomorrow is never clear

Our time... Our time is here".

We run into the next classroom, but only stay for a second before we run to the next classroom.

(Katniss)
We know, but were not certain
How can we be, how can we see what's ahead
The road keeps on turning
And all we can do, is travel each day to the next".

We stop running to classrooms and instead run to the auditorium. We've got students running after us. Cheering and applauding. Singing along with me and my girls.
