That night was worst sleep she have ever had, she had nightmares about her friends getting mad at her and never wanting to be her friends again, she just kept reminding herself "They're not those kind of people, they would never do that to me." But a bad thought kept slipping into her mind after she had the good thoughts "Would they really forgive me after I did that to them, I could've just asked my grandma to take me to my old neighborhood to say goodbye, but I didn't."
Breakfast that morning cheered her up; pancakes, bacon, and eggs. But in some little corner of her mind still worried about her friends, and maybe a little about her father. "No!" she would say to herself "Not how he left us like that!" but she wanted so badly to take that back. "Even though my father may not care about me or Samuel, it's not like I will hate him for the rest of my life." she thought to herself.
After breakfast Grace went outside to help her grandma pull weeds, and for once Samuel came outside, too. While they were all pulling weeds their grandma said "So you know in a couple of days kids have to go back to school, well I found you two a new school to go to."
