I pushed her away. Muntik na siyang tumumba, kaya naman hinila ko rin siya pabalik sa'kin. My goodness, konting-konti na lang talaga, mahahalikan ko na siya. Namula ako. Bumilis din ang tibok ng puso ko. Kalma, landi, kalma. "You should leave. I don't want you here."

"But Yuri said you're looking for me," She stated, looking deeply into my eyes. "Hey." I looked away, avoiding eye contact. I don't want to give in. "All of them told me that you're upset dahil ang tagal kong dumating."

"Well, they're lying."

"Are they?"

"Oo nga. Ba't ba ang kulit mo, hah?"

"Screenshots doesn't lie."

"Fine!" Kai giggled and I fucking love the sound of that. I didn't know why, but I automatically tucked the stray hair behind her ear. Napahinga na lang ako ng malalim habang inaayos ang kanyang eleganteng golden tiara. "Sorry, I just got-"

"You're drawn to me and we both know that."

"You're so full of yourself, Kai. It doesn't work like that anymore," I argued, turning my back on her. I walked past her but she was able to catch my arm. "Let go of me."

"I did." My eyebrows rose. "It's not gonna happen again. I won't allow it." Kai placed her right hand on my cheek. I can't help to shut my eyes. "I love you."

Her mouth curved into a smile. Her whole face lit up. "Um, I, hmm..." I was gonna say I love her back but to my surprise, Dakota walked in. I smell trouble. "Now, who invited this bitch?"

"It's nice to see you too, Ice."

Yuri trailed behind her and I felt some kind of relief. Gia stood next to my sister. "The hell is she doing here?" Gia pulls Kai away from me. I gave her an uninviting look. I still get jealous and we are all pretty much aware of that. "Yuri, ano'ng ginagawa ng taong 'to dito?"

Dakota flashes a smile. She tried to kiss me, but Kai went between us, telling her to back her shit down. "Not my girl, bitch." Napangiti ako, pero syempre patago lang 'yun. "Leave. Or I'll drag your filthy ass away from this place."

"You gutsy, rich brat."

"Yes, I'm that brat who will smack you in the face if you touch her. And yes, I'm stupid rich and I can buy you if I want to." Her jaw set. Sinclair heiress looks at me. "I will landi you later, my love. Just gotta deal with this hoe first," Bulong niya sa'kin. The corners of my eye crinkled. My lashes fluttered. Kinilig ako lalo na when Kai entwined her fingers with mine. I want to pull my hand away, but she gripped it hard. "Don't. Just leave it there." She then gritted her teeth, facing back the enemy. "You are not welcome here, lady. It would be very much appreciated if you leave now."

"And why would I take orders from you?" Dakota walked slowly, circling both of us. Naku, lagot, hinawakan ni Dakota ang mukha ni Kai. Sinclair heiress slapped Dakota's hand away. Her face reddened. "Lalaban ka talaga, ano?"

"Oo, lalaban na talaga ako para sa kanya, para sa amin." Hindi na sumagot si Dakota. Sumakit bigla ang ulo ko, kaya ako napapikit habang hinihimas ang aking noo. "Oh, no, you didn't." It's too late. Hindi ko din inasahang bigla akong hahalikan ni Dakota. "She's fucking mine." Pero syempre, mas lalo akong nagulat nang bigla rin akong halikan ni Kai. Kinagat pa niya yung labi ko. At inulit pa talaga niya. "The last person who tasted her mouth... owns her, and that's me," Kai tells Dakota with a monotone voice. "So, why don't you just run along?"
