Mixed Up

When I woke up I was where I last remembered to be; the nurse's office. But there was no nurse and the lights were off, all of them. Is the power still out?
How long have I been out?

I got up out of the bed, feeling weakened. It was difficult to walk for some reason, as if these were the first steps I had ever taken. The lights wouldn't turn on so the power was in fact still out. I was the only one in the office. The other beds were still vacant from when I woke up earlier. This is kinda freaky.

I made my way to the door. When I put my hand on the door to open it the nob wouldn't turn all the way. The door was locked.
Damn.

"Now what?"

I began to look about the office; the beds, the pen on the nurse's counter that's end had an artificial flower, even the certificates of Nurse Janet's degree in the medical field.

Everything was silent save for my steps. My panic grew. I tried to open the door again but to no avail. I should probably just stay put. Thats why the nurse left me here, right? Yeah. I'll just stay here. I found myself sitting on the bed I awoke in as I pondered what exactly I was supposed to do.

"Maybe I should get some rest."

"Wyatt."

I jumped and examined the room. No one was here.

"Who's there?!"

No response. There was a noise, a crackle of walls gritting each other. I moved to the next room slowly, frightened, to find an unusual sight. There was a hole in the shape of a doorway. The wall that was there seemed to have sunken into the ground somehow. It was an opening, a doorway, an entrance, more importantly an exit.

What the hell?
